Great value for startups!
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Amplitude in our B2B SaaS startup since our pre-launch days in 2017 and it is the only product usage analytics tool that we have kept since. The flexibility of analytics, the ease of building charts to answer almost any question, and the ability to edit events and their properties is nothing short of amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We struggled a bit with how spaces and dashboards are structured. But, given the fact that we never had to do any training or even read the docs for Amplitude, that means the simplicity vs the power of the tool is simply amazing - it's the only hiccup we ever had :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to monitor adoption per customer account, validate solutions for hard-to-pinpoint performance problems, create better product hypotheses, and track our North Star metric for product usage. This allows us to build a better product and make sure our customers use the features we ship.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides a lot interesting insights in the usage of your product, although there is a learning curve. Great for experimentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit to set up correctly and requires development effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to look into usage and patterns to better understand the users and determine the product development direction. Allows to set up experiments to validate ideas.
Best product to grow your critical metrics using data.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease and speed with which most of the analysis could be done. 95% of the answers we need, can be found using Amplitude. Since we have started using it, we have never really thought about using any other product.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were given a start-up plan for a year and could use almost all the features. But it was rolled back without any prior notice. It would be great if Amplitude stuck to its promise and restart our start-up plan effective immediately.

Needs a lot of fine-tuning within products
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is helping us better understand the journies our users are taking with the products, helping us visualize their behaviour then scale, group and cohort behaviours to understand trends, opportunities and problems. It's aso great for keeping the team involved and apprised of KPIs and metrics we're tracking with the easy reports and subscriptions.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up, easy to query data, visualizations are easy to build

Requires development resources to instrument. More complex to setup than similar tools like Google Analytics

Amplitude tells us how our users are using our products. I can't think of more essential data to a product team

Amplitudes interface is beautiful and very dynamic/fluid/intuitive!

I think that there are a lot of annoying "feature ads" in the product. There are many things I can buy so I see my interface kinda cluttered

I can easily create charts and analysis within my products scope. Its easy to gain insights to whats really going down with the users with the Users path tool
Amplitude is a must-have tool for analysing our product
What do you like best about the product?
I love the retention chart feature and also the cohort feature. These helped us identify subsegments of our user base that are really engaged with our app. Using this insight, we were able to improve user retention significantly.

Pricing is insanely high, it would be great to have modular pricing so you can pay for features you actually use.

Easy to configure new views of the data.
Once we get the hang of it, ability to create these queries, is very good.

It is easier to edit an existing chart than keep creating new ones and having to keep track of them.
This means one has to try recreating a set of commonly used charts all the time.

Understanding the usage and engagement of our product by users, across devices, interfaces, browsers, actions and events.

A complete analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
There has never been a moment where I could not get the insight I wanted from Amplitude. The documentation around everything is just too good. I love the books published by amplitude . Ther are insane.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing really that I don't dislike but sometimes working with funnels gets frustrating especially when I am working with custom date ranges and such scenarios
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me the biggest problem it solves is that I can very very accurately track the adoption and impact of my products on my clients. It helps us build better features.
