easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
it is very esasy to cusomize and send tags

pretty much everything is fine, maybe only dashboard query builder can be better. also I like when there is some helpfull advices from the platform too

i have not used amplitude a bunch but it makes analytics simpler than other apps

It is simple to use, but still covers all of the important impactful uses

I have not used the app a bunch to be honest, but from what I have done I have no dislikes

Amplitude Analytics helps me see information about our product in a clean and simple way. I can find what I need very fast

One-stop shop for event collection, analysis. Constantly evolving and adding new features

Analyses are sometimes limited by product functionality.

Retention, stickiness analysis. Dashboarding and seamless reporting.

Allows us to analyze user flows and see if there is a place where people abandon.

Figure out how you are going to use the analytics and what additional things you need (like experiments)

Can create charts and dash oards extremely easily. They can be shared out simply as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limits are really only to the data points you have. Our data points frequently have glitches in pulling but it is always resolved quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps gives us instant insights into our data that we haven't had before. We are able to segment and build funnels so easily where before we needed our whole data team to build dashboards.

The ability to look at data so many different ways

it can be intimidating but once you get into it, its great. It can be easy to get a little lost in the data you can dig for. wish there was a way to do some things easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
analyzing customer behaviors so we can make design decisions. discovering what users are doing, why they're doing it and trying to find answers to all the questions we have.

There are so many helpful features we've plugged our service into that allow us to serve our customers better by learning who they are and finding hitches in our user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like more guidance on privacy issues. One that came up recently is Android's new data safety requirements. I was only able to find a user-created forum post touching on the topic, and the response wasn't helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics allows us to solve issues our customers are facing as well as learn who they are and what they need. We've used other analytics solutions to try to tackle these, but Amplitude is better.

Other considering Amplitude Analytics may want to consider how large the problem is that they're trying to solve. Amplitude offers a lot, and it might be more than some folks need.
Solid Web App analytics and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
ease of setup; ease of use; good documentation. Amplitude is a great tool for product analytics on a web app, especially at an early stage in development. Not many weak points in my experience
What do you dislike about the product?
initial meeting with sales/onboarding team was awkward - they didn't seem enthusiastic about the product or about working with us. we had to drive the meeting ourselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking user journey's and usage analytics within our web app in a straightfoward, minimal-code-required manner. Benefits my team by making it easy to analyze how our product is being used and how frequently.

It's easy to setup and use the free tier if you're considering trying it out.

I absolutely love being able to build off my colleagues' created graphs and charts to expand into additional data that I might need.
We've been able to pull in Amplitude data and combine it with other analytic tools to be sure we're measuring the right thing.

There can be a steep learning curve to Amplitude at first.
There are learning widgets that can help with this. Really it just takes dedicated time to learn and understand.

Amplitude helps us understand where our customers are at. We can see retention from different cross-sections of users so we understand who is using our app to its best ability and who needs a little nudge in the right direction.

If you're familiar with analytics tools you'll enjoy the comprehensive tool set available.
