Amplitude is key for decision-making by giving access to relevant and detailed information

What do you like best about the product?
Different user segmentation enables us to analyze the game as a whole but also deep dive into a specific group that is relevant for one specific business decision.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not be able to create more complex formulas and save them.
As an example, internally, my team estimates future lifetime values and it's no possible to make those calculations inside Amplitude
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is currently responsible for our daily track of real-time monetization metrics. It's easier to have a dashboard that is updating every 5 minutes and gives us the room to take decisions faster.

Additionally, Amplitude is key for ours A/B tests in which the team usually follows daily metrics from all users and also from tailored groups related to the test.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If a company wants to be data-driven and having all decisions based on multiple analysis, Amplitude is going to be a must since it is going to empower your team as the same time that it makes them more productive

What do you like best about the product?
The different options available for me to study many different dimensions of users on my products
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool requires some amount of discipline to maintain the data. It is not always present among the team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For every initiative and feature I work on I create Amplitude reports to measure if it achieves the goal and measure the outcome.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use even half the features regularly, you will get a lot out of the product.

Once tracking events are available, it's very easy to build reports on Amplitude.

What do you like best about the product?
The pseudocode style of building charts is very easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissioning options need to be expanded. It is difficult to make dashboard-level changes to all charts once initial setup is complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to track customer usage of our platform for identifying the impact our service consultants are making and understand client business cycles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For my company, the insights we can gain make it worth overcoming the issues with user-friendliness. The amplitude team has been working alongside us to improve their platform based on our feedback. I am impressed with this.

Go-to for learning about user behaviors

What do you like best about the product?
This is my go-to when I have a question about user behaviors. It is incredibly easy to use. It is simple to get charts set up. We can set up dashboards so our team can keep an eye on key metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain features when creating charts that I wish they had, but I imagine they're always working on adding more. It'd also be nice if they worked with Zapier as that's a tool we use regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to gain insights into user behaviors. Evaluate the success of certain user-facing features. Set up dashboards so the team can monitor key health metrics of our platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's incredibly easy to use, I've trained some individuals in using it and they're able to pick things up quickly as the platform is pretty intuitive. It also allows us to very quickly gain insights into user behavior and set up dashboards to continually monitor.

Not having a trend for funnel drop-offs for day wise. Have limited more insight visibility for funnel.

Good analytics tool for event based analytics

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can group events in a category eg Onboarding, Checkout etc. It can easily get around any ambiguity of event names (no matter how hard you try there always ends up some poorly named events).
What do you dislike about the product?
The default 'loaded a page' event when you turn on page views is really annoying when trying to map a journey as you can't break it down to the actual page very easily which means you need to put your own events in for page views to map out user flow/journey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User behaviours our our website and apps. We have identified poorly performing funnels and been able to understand segments of customers better. This will help us track performance better

Ensure you set up events and properties correctly from the start.

The chart's limitation to custom formulas and other useful chart types that are suitable for time-of-day analysis
