Have great features but need to catch up with new entrants

What do you like best about the product?
The funnels feature is best. And also I like the user pathfinder feature the most. It helps me understand the actual user journey and other alternatives that users were taking that were not anticipated or intended by us.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was no option to create a custom event on the funnel( or chart section itself). We have to go to govern section everytime to create a custom event.

Also, I feel amplitude can be a little pro-active. They should have warned us initially that we shouldn't use phone number as user_id. Now we were facing a lot of issues with user_id (need help with this).

Also, I wish amplitude has provided a bare minimum capabilities to create table like summary. And we would love to have more customizations on dashboards (the current dashboard features are very primitve).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the user pathfinder feature the most. It helps me understand the actual user journey and other alternatives that users were taking that were not anticipated or intended by us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I wish the product team of my previous org had used this. It had made my life easier to analyse the user behaviour and how the users are using a product. Now we can build funnels in minutes and we can share it and edit it with simple clicks. It also helps in democratising data with stakeholders and PMs can build/edit the funnels on thier own without bothering analysts for every minor change.

Suggest Amplitude Analytics business analytics tool

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, copy/modify/tweak previous saved dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not exactly built for marketing, or have specific automatic settings for businesses, it's fairly generic without preset analytics models
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data visualization, and allowing users to download data is great. I need this daily, although I hate that I have to "melt" the data to turn it into a pivot table when I download the CSV file.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm not a data expert, but Amplitude helps me analyse data quickly and easily without getting help from data analysts all the time. It is very easy to learn and use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless the events are set up well for tracking, it can be a little difficult to use, and you can't use it to analyse everything. It will most likely still cover most events for basic analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics help us to make decisions based on data in our day-to-day. It also helps us track our impact as we launch new features compared to baseline.

What do you like best about the product?
Event and user based tracking, good features such as lookup tables. User lookup is excellent for debugging
What do you dislike about the product?
Very difficult to do meaningful analysis unless all properties are mapped correctly - it's very difficult to see how a user got to a certain event if that property isnt mapped.
Funnels cant retain properties if they are not mapped on the event
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is allowing our business to move away from visit based tracking and towards users and events

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to dive into the data and pull actionable insights. Events appear in Amplitude after a very reasonable amount of time and my charts/dashboards load crazy fast. It's easy to share my team's charts & dashboards with other teams to keep stakeholders informed about our impact.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude sometimes doesn't get as granular as I would like it to get. We have to supplement certain analytics questions with other analytics tools (which are much more difficult to use).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm monitoring health and success metrics for the features that my product team is releasing to our enterprise customers. Amplitude allows me to measure impact and communicate this impact to stakeholders.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is great in that you can look at data across different platforms. Once fully integrated, you can for instance look at Monthly Active Users segmented by Web, iOS, and Android.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to integrate Amplitude into other analytics we track such as our internal Admin, and Google Analytics. I wish it was easier to integrate the data in other places like piping it to Google Sheets live so I could pull it into something like Google Data Studio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of answering which of our app features are more used and engaging. We also are solving the question of which markets and regions use us the most.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about where Amplitude fits into your data architecture and how you'll do reporting and analysis from different data sources.

What do you like best about the product?
Great flexibility and highly customizable. Very simple to define event and user propoerties, understand conversion, drill down to understand cross-sections or zoom out to understand aggregagte trends.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish it were clearer/ more intuitive for new users to understand that when looking at event A to event B conversion, adding filters by user properties means filtering by that user's property *at the time of the event.*
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics empowers Product Managers and operations, marketing, and growth teams to conduct advanced analytics, therefore, freeing up capacity from our Data and Engineering teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of switching from funnel to segmentation and to flow to understand the customer behaviour within product experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing capabilities especially with cohorts is limited and the ability to create a cohort from a report and share is not allowed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We understand how our customers are using our products and allow us to go deep with insights and understanding the abandonment occuring.

Fast way to convert insights into action

What do you like best about the product?
What is really helpful is the way to create a custom event based on others. This feature helps me to quickly understand user behavior based on the different use cases of my product.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have a native event for sign-in. Now I could check active events to understand user engagement but some of those events are part of the onboarding and is complicated to distinguish between not onboarded users and acquire ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are implementing other platforms to concentrate data and analysis, Amplitude Analytics is helping me understand user behaviors faster and decide which experiment I should prioritize while the team is implementing other tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Native tracking for user taps would be great to make a micro-events analysis without all the work required to tag every component.

What do you like best about the product?
The first thing that caught my attention, positively, was the interface because it is very organized and divided into many useful functions, the design is very innovative and creative. I find it interesting that the creation of graphics is very simple and useful, we can perform many tasks in a specific way without the need to complicate ourselves when developing them. Another thing that I like about this software is that it works immediately, all the tasks that you execute will be reflected at the moment, and this facilitates the work of the analysis when a chart a being created.
On the other hand, Amplitude is a tool that can be used to share information with other companies, regardless of whether they are analyzed or not, this is a plus because other similar software does not have this function. Finally, Amplitude puts at your disposal several types of graphs that will make it easier for you to read the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics has worked very well for me but there are some things I don't like:
- I can't perform lower level analyses.
- When creating a graph you have to continue all the steps, that is, if I start with a graph already advanced, I have to start from the beginning anyway.
- Does not keep a count of users.
- I have never been able to redefine or group values of a parameter, so if I have a date parameter, I cannot group it by dow, nor can I do it manually.
- In a funnel, you have to create several things separately, this is a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to this software I have obtained many benefits, one of them is that we no longer need to transfer the data that we have in Amplitude to other external AB testing software, we do everything directly in Amplitude. In addition, we can see the number of users that enter and where we lose them, thanks to this we can improve our work.
Likewise, since we have started using this software, our work has been developing in a very positive way, we have learned a lot, gained more experience, solve work problems efficiently and quickly, and finally, we give our clients the best result.
