Ampltiude is a very easy tool to use really cool for new users

Great Product Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and functionality of Amplitude is great. I can build out a dashboard, share it with anyone in the organization, and they are immediately able to understand what is going on within the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the dashboard functionality and filtering is clunky at times (but improving over the last year+). Compared to a product like power bi or tableau, the filtering at the hands of the user (not the creator) should be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mostly using it to solve problems around user behavior and track how users react to product and marketing changes. Amplitude makes it easy to run A/B tests on the different campaigns to see what was most effective

Sometimes data isn't loading but it's relevant only to beta analysis

Mostly trying to identify how to improve existing features, increase retention and decrease drop offs
Incredibly intuitive data insights tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you don't really need any onboarding on this tool, you can just pick it up straight away and work out how to use it yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are a little hidden, such as pathfinder. It would be great to not have to scroll all the way down a menu or have a demo to know what it's there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel analysis and where our users are dropping off as well as their preferred paths to completing their tasks.
Easy to use tool with a lot of ways to get insights
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is easy to use and quite intuitive. Also, you get a lot of options to do your analysis using various charts, filters etc. We have been using it to analyse a lot of visitor trends and I am not kidding when I say it's easy as a walk in the park. It meets our requirements quite well. The pathfinder tool especially provides an easy way to visualize where visitors have been visiting, on what paths they have been following within the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have preferred to have more chart types and better control over them. For instance, there are not a lot of visualization modification options. It is also a hassle since you cannot change the chart colors or modify the groupings in the chart. There is also no ability to drill into the data which could have been an added feature. Finally, the fact that there is a limit in the downloaded rows when exporting data to a CSV which is big drawback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Amplitude to understand user/visitor behaviours and how they interact with our site. The cool funnel charts and the pathfinder tool are really useful to visualize the flow of visitors from one page to another. Also, amplitude helps us in visualizing our segment events and provides an easy way to analyse site traffic.

If you are looking for an easy way to analyse your site traffic and product usage, Amplitude is your go-to tool since it provides an easy way to track usage
Easy to Use Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy to use Amplitude is. Defining and collecting events is straightforward. Analysis using Amplitude is also amazingly simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find that there are a couple of features missing that make Amplitude not as flexible when it comes to cleaning/managing data that comes in

Amplitude is helping to drive a data-driven product culture as well as customer success strategies. It is amazing how data and insights drive you down the path of new questions to explore and uncover
Strong interim solution for data analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude allows you to grab the data cuts you need with minimal overhead and a basic understanding of event-based data collection. It can do many of analyses you need and, with some additional customization, most of the data you want to pull.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monthly cohorting as defined by some metric is such a standard, consistent need in any analysis and I still have to enter start and end dates over and over again for any cohorted analysis I need to run - especially when doing cohorted retention data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're doing feature and usage-based analyses, cohorted retention analyses, funnel analyses, and general data pulls. We've been able to answer questions more quickly and set up data-informed discussions more regularly.
Amplitude analytics tool review
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to use. The support team's response time is good. They respond pretty quickly. It is a great tool for client side tracking on Web, Android and iOS.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration between Amplitude and segment can be improved. Due to the connection failure between amplitude and segment, some tracking features got affected, and it took a while for us to resolve that issue. The Amplitude documentation can be improved and made easy for us to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Amplitude for client side and server side tracking on Web, Android and iOS. The tracking is pretty easy with Amplitude.
Democratizing access to user data
What do you like best about the product?
It's effortless to create a chart and share it with my coworkers. Often user behavior questions come up in conversation, and within 30 seconds you can have an answer that everyone on the team can see. Even better, they can continue segmenting or modifying that shared chart to explore and answer additional questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found the product to be less beneficial for answering non-user behavior-related questions. For example, you could not (or could not easily) calculate the number of items on your site that are currently on sale unless a user saw them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Amplitude for analyzing user behavior in A/B experiments. It allows us to have a real-time snapshot of key metrics during an experiment, but also helps us to identify areas of the site where we should run future experiments.
