The filters and the events setup. Really really good!

What do you like best about the product?
You can visualize fast through the different tools the 80% of the data insights that you need. Otherwise, you would need to write a bunch of queries or scripts to visualize the same information.
Moreover, you are able to create common spaces where you can easily share dashboards/notebooks with your colleagues. This allows to have much more fluent communication with your team members and being able to share all of your insights in an organised way.

What do you dislike about the product?
For specific tasks that require a more complex logic, Amplitude is then not that useful, and you need to go straight into the Snowflake database to write those queries. Moreover, the usability of particular tools (Such as conversion drivers or clustering) is not yet super insightful and depends significantly on the taxonomy of events described.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working as a product analyst for a mobile game company. We understand which are our weakest points inside our games using primarily event segmentation and funnels
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Getting and sharing insights is much easier now that we use this tool while creating proper charts to visualize what is going on with your product. I strongly recommend it as a must in any digital company.

The wide variety of charting features in Amplitude are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to add target metrics sometimes limit the benefit I am able to derive from Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding customer behavior on our platform is the main reason I use Amplitude.
Amplitude helps me understand user behaviour though data. Also, their help center is very helpful

Subsription with CSV, distribution of data based on properties, user streams, ease of use for notebook

The changes of the color scheme recently, limited option to view avg/median time to convert (funnel) in dashboard

We can understand how many user interact with our new feature. We can also consider if a feature in a page is less engaged compared to others. Also we can run ab test to see which variant works better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would love to be able to compare value between properties when I have 2 properties in same/different event and I want to make it as condition

Indepth, realtime, easy to add events, easy to make good looking graphs

I'd like to be able to import other sources of data. The google sheets plugin could also use improvement

Fairly easy and intuitive to get started with. Easy to save key dashboards for teams to keep an eye on your key metrics.

Amplitude is missing group properties. We'd like to see stats on both user and workspace level but that's currently not supported. For our product's use that's quite crucial.

Understanding how users engage with our services, seeing which features work, and which don't.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth considering if you have the engineering workforce to instrument events and analysts to gauge engagement on them. It's a fun tool that does the job just fine.
Powerful, intuitive and essential
What do you like best about the product?
I love the intuitive charts that I can produce, and it's easy to set up filters and visualisations to come up with relevant insights. I also like the real-time tracking that makes it easy to validate correct instrumentation and to check on what events are being tracked if I forget.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish moving charts around on the dashboard and notebook was easier. Some of the more powerful features are quite complicated, and the documentation is not always helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude Analytics to see what our users are doing, and it allows us to see what's working and what's not. Without it, we would be making product decisions blindly. I like that it helps end speculative discussion when we have relevant metrics to show that grounds the team in reality.

Get it if you want to be data-driven and want to be able to get insights regardless of your data literacy.

When I migrate data to other platforms they don't usually correlate

Creating behavioral cohorts. User data based on actions. Show data in a simple way with graphs and charts that update constantly.

What do you like best about the product?

With so many users on our platform, it's mission-critical for us to have an analytics platform that we can rely on to run our business. Looking at our data in Amplitude informs everything we do and allows us to be a data-driven organization.

Right now it's a learning curve to use Amplitude but once you learn how to use Amplitude it's so incredibly powerful.
