Effective and Easy to use product analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to track and analyze multiple events simultaneously across various user segments. Makes product analysis interesting and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we see inaccuracy in data tracked by amplitude and the one stored in our databases. Also, sometimes creating use cases gets difficult as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mainly using it for our daily product analytics. It helps in keeping an eye on product performance and leakages occurring in the user journey.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we can create cohorts to bucket users in various segments. This gives up deep level insights on whom to target, what communication to use, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, we find wrong user ID in cohorts that leads to data contamination.
Channel wise data if given better can be more helpful. This will also help in solving attribution issues which a lot of businesses face today. Although this is not an attribution platform, still few features will be really helpful

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to configure funnels, cohorts, KPIs and every single metric / graph needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. Amplitude is the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our metrics and dashboards are in amplitude.

Just use it
Great tool for analyzing huge sets of data and also see them change in real time

1) Review the data flowing from the segment in real-time
2) The charts displayed also change according to the changes in data
3) Easier to change the legends in the charts, which makes it very easy to present it to the audience

1) Some of the places we cannot change the legends in funnel analysis
2) In group by clause, while using event segmentation, there should be more options for arranging the data (ascending or descending) depending on the numbers. I have submitted a ticket for the same
3) Recently, Amplitude deleted the color schemes. The earlier color schemes for charts were better and intuitive too. We have submitted a ticket for the same too.

We are trying to figure out the retention, user portfolio, and the aha moments for a product designed by my firm.
We check what caused churn or what causes users to stay and use the product. The different kinds of chart answer all the different questions that the teams have.

What do you like best about the product?
It is really intuitive to use, varied chart types which provide one with all the required data visualization options and track user behaviour.
What do you dislike about the product?
No addon to write custom queries while setting up charts, Integration into the systems takes some time, dev support needs to be more efficient
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for all our analytics needs, such as Product usage, adoption, and consumer action tracking. It becomes convenient to set up analytics and enable non-tech persons to use its functionalities.

It is the ideal tool for those who want to understand their users better without getting into complicated analytics tools.

Amplitude is amazing both for ad-hoc queries and data discovery, as well as real-time dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom metrics creation is clunky; pinning functionality is very limited; moving charts around on existing dashboards throws off formatting and is hard to fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding key conversion funnels (signup), tracking user paths; measuring ongoing product engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is really easy to use, which is important since it collects tonnes of events. I love the dashboard view where I can just glance at it and see the user trends this week or month. It's never been easier for me to create really in-depth reports. One of my favorite features is the ability to add information about releases. This allows me to monitor whether or not a particular release is having an impact on our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be really great if I could switch from the user view to the view of the entire client company. Maybe I just do not know how to do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I publish some improvements to the app, I can check how it works and if our users benefit from it.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is an all-in-one solution to track user activity, have a complete analytic pack, analyze the user behaviors and boost your startups. The Retention Analysis and also Lifecycle are two game changer features for early stage startups, which you could use to measure the performance of your key features on the app and improve the user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although they have every key metrics and chart to measure the app function, it's not 100% user-friendly. You should spend plenty of time on their documents and tutorials to find out how to work with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using amplitude to measure user retention, which is more accurate compare to other analytic tools. Also, we use it for our A-B testing to find out which features on the app are more popular in different countries.

Selecting events/building cards could be simpler.

Being able to build predictive cohorts in Amplitude to better target customers in Braze to do more high-value activities.

Great free tier for quick analysis and awesome paid tier for deeper analysis with a lot of helping features.

It could have some of the best-paid features in the free tier as a limited tryout for people to test and see what they are losing.
