Excellent reporting and data visualization with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use by which I can select the events (actions, clicks, etc.) and measure those against different users. I also like the different ways you can visualize the data. It's also benefitted our development team in that it's easier to embed data tracking points with Amplitude and offers more flexibility when others need to be added.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like saving reports to be a little easier. The process around that seems to be a little clunky. It would also be helpful to have access to a chatbot for instant help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Amplitude to measure the adoption rate of one of our task manager products. We are now able to track actions on both the "click" and the "done" status to confirm that an action was not only taken but completed.

What do you like best about the product?
It goes beyond easy event-based analysis to providing insight into why the metrics are what they are.
Conversion funnels are easy, and then you can drill into the paths users took to get there and where the converted users went after, helping to identify the next question you should ask.
They also provide an extremely generous startup program - free for a year - which makes the product very attainable to smaller companies.

What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't provide account-based cohort analysis out of the box, that requires an additional (expensive) add on. For a b2b company, that is very unfortunate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring event-based conversion funnels and identifying conversion driver events that we didn't realize before. We've been able to identify the most valuable actions in our application through Amplitude, and then use it to drive improvement.

Sometimes its hard to connect two different pieces of information

Understand user behaviour on web and app.
Amplitude is great but there is definitely a learning curve to unlock its full potential.

The visualization of data - the charts are very clear and its super easy to play around with different formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to figure out exactly how to add your events and filtering to view the data you want to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest one is conversion rates, monitoring new feature, performance or signups after we run marketing campaigns. We recently started tracking frequency of core actions.

Firstly it's the speed of data update, reaching near real-time efficiency. Favorite features are event segmentation, user properties, and cohorts

The inability to modify historical data as sometimes we need to go back to an event that's already logged to update the user properties. Also it would be good to have more visualization methods in charting

It's great for product analytics; for business analysis that requires edits to historical data you may need to consider tradeoffs

If your'e looking for a tool with great features for a lesser price,
you should go for it.
This tool has a lot of important features like User session tracking,

I'm using amplitude on a dialy base and very recommend
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the tool, is highly appreciate: I'm using it on both weekly/monthly monitoring but also to present specific points to my colleges during meetings. The visualization is so simple to operate, which makes it part of a lot of conversations and business decisions we make.
I just love the weekly view, helps me a lot with understanding trends.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a little hard for me to understand on which information amplitude is using to infer fields. I.e: user device - I don't know how amplitude knows the device ( I guess that amplitude use the user agent information, but would be glad to have documentation in this), another field is the session - amplitude has an algorithm for inferring session, but I do not know what it is.
The user events screen is also amazing, but sometimes in the search event there is not working well..

In order to understand trends better, we need to visualize history data. For us these parameters are critical.
