Perfect App Analytics Platform

What do you like best about the product?
amplitude is the best system for mobile app analytics. It is very easy to count and follow the main indicators such as: ltv, roi, dau, mau, stickness. You can also watch the flow of a particular user, which makes life very easy. Also, you can find bugs, create monitoring systems, etc. The user property system and all the analytics in general are made so that even the most ordinary person can use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like the opportunity to count the conversion and correctly evaluate, choose cohorts, it is not quite convenient.
There are still some minor problems with live data. And also sometimes there is a problem with refresh, but on the whole these things are insignificant and the system works perfectly for this amount of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude solves such problems as: coverage of the entire product by events, full monitoring of weak zones and key metrics. Ability to perform a/b testing and its evaluation. Amplitude is ideal as the main system of mobile application analytics. In the amplitude it is always convenient to find a specific user, track his flow. It's just as easy to see what he was doing when the conversion took place. You can receive data in any section you need, it makes it easy to work with the aggregation in many ways. Building funnels is also at a level that makes it easy to identify weaknesses in the product, improve specific user flow and understand the need for a particular feature.

Intuitive, fast and flexible analytics platform

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is blisteringly fast to compute and present our data. It's also incredibly flexible, and we've been able to use it for everything from customer support to daily dashboards to ad hoc analyses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really been able to get any value from the predictive analytics or other more complex analyses. I find the retention analytics quite unfriendly as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking daily, weekly, monthly operational and product feature performance and growth. Diagnosing user-level issues and creating highly-customized cohorts for marketing campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Amplitude is a really powerful tool. Allow you to dive deep into the data to understand your product.
2. It helps not only to analysis your running experiments but also to check the overall health of the product on a daily basis.
3. Less restricted then GA or any other tool available in the market. You can explore and understand user experience for individual users
What do you dislike about the product?
1. What I don't like is that it doesn't give any prior notice before your events limit is about to exceed.
2. It should also notify on mail if there's a sudden change in any metric

The best part is the user lookup feature that helps to understand users' experience and how they're interacting with the product.
It gives you a clear picture of how you're thinking that your user should interact with the product v/s how they are actually interacting.

The other best part :P
Easy to present in front of the team - No need to put data in those boring sheet and invest time to make graphs(To make more presentable)

You just have to put conditions and voila!!!
It will generate automated graphs. Now you can present in front of a highly data-savvy team, investors or shareholders

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of UI. I tried a lot of tools: Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc. And only Amplitude is intuitive from the very first moment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn’t get how to exclude some users from charts. Also, I didn’t like how much loaders I see while navigating between pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude to analyze both mobile and web for WeGoTrip. Funnel analyses is the best way to understand how to grow my business

What do you like best about the product?
The most interesting features that I use the most are: conversion funnels, retention and cohorts. Exporting to csv is a great tool that I also use to manipulate the data the way I need to.
The magic also happens with compass and correlation, but the features still need development as it is hard to extract direct learnings from them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way event filtering works: We cannot be specific about user events when building cohorts: We can include all people that had event X where property is Y, but we will also have people with properties U, V, W... I have trouble filtering users by these events by working with the csv file.

Another point is the pricing, where I think it is very hard to pay that amount of money when starting a project.

Another point is when checking user events: It does not have the local time of the device which was problematic for an experiment that we had.

Last but not least, the interface is very slow: if I move onto another tab, then back to the amplitude tab, it takes a very long to reload the content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To analyse the growth of our App through continuous A/B testing.

We have achieved great learnings about the flow of the app, what type of information the users care about, and how to create stickiness and love.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Time is money: Learning is the right way to spend your time, and without amplitude, we would have spent years trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up, simple UI, and very robust features for the free version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are lacking like deleting individual events (often appears when testing).

Enabling non-technical team members to also have access to data without writing complicated queries.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very powerful analytics tool with a various array of data visualization options and calculations that is at the same time very easy to use even for people with no previous experience with the analytics tool or from less-technical backgrounds, as myself.

Another thing a really appreciate is the great customer support they offer and the options they have for startups or students that may not have available funds to pay high prices.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only inconvenience has been with certain limitations that there could be depending on the package you have (free versions) but it is 100% understandable and I still think what is offered is above expectations. One thing that bothers me is that we get warning notifications every single time we open any dashboard with the same message. I think it would be better to maybe just show the repeating warning once a day or every two days as it sometimes gets in the way of actual buttons or data you are trying to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of having all the information from our app, across different platforms in the same place and with it being able to analyze user behaviour, retention, funnels, lifetime value, demography and so much more. The tool has helped us have a better understanding of our business overall, identify areas of opportunity and plan for the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. There are versions for startups that include most of the tools and options, you won't even know the difference until you have grown a lot and are tracking millions of events per month. I definitely recommend this software and is an absolute delight to use, as it is so powerful yet so friendly.
