A great all-in-one tool if you want to do both analytics and experimentation
What do you like best about the product?
My company uses Amplitude daily for our insights, experimentation, and cohort creation for outreach. For a single tool it's very comprehensive and you can use the same behavioral or demographic data all in one tool instead of having a separate analytics platform, experimentation platform, and personalization platform.
Training materials and documentation are great, and if that doesn't cover my needs I am very confident that I could use either the community forums, office hours, or customer support to get quick answers.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be cumbersome to use with nonstandard implementations - our team uses Unity and a custom Amplitude implementation, so some features aren't available to us like restarting AB tests or using ampli for telemetry validation as code is being written.
Amplitude's automatic identity resolution doesn't apply to exports to data warehouses, so more effort is needed to get the same results with the same events in another BI tool.
It's also difficult to look at data over long periods of time. In general there's a 365 day lookback and in aggregate a 12-quarter lookback (and some flexibility for YoY comparisons)
Data is democratized and it's easy enough for anyone who needs it to make charts, but it can be difficult to ensure that others in the company are finding consistent insights.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user behaviors and the demographics of our userbase. Understanding the performance of new releases both from the standpoint of adoption as well as application performance metrics.
It also solves our need for experimentation as well as identifying user groups for outreach (such as with user research)

Great graphs that lead to significant knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to include new metrics and the graphs created are great. You can interact with the graphs too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is very easy to share, it lacks some customization. For example, embeddings always take a fix height that can't be changed.
Custom alerts are not easy to create, nor intuitive.

It is providing key metrics to our observability solution, providing useful knowledge in the business workflows.
Amplitude for understanding User behavior
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy of use functionality with Amplitude, it requires minimal learning curve for user of Amplitude to start playing around and create charts/dashboard to track user behavior and product metrics. I have been using Amplitude now for more than 1 year and find it extremely helpful to understand customer behavior and usage pattern of new feature i release as a Product Manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
None at the moment, all features i require/desire from a Product Analytics software are already part of Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude to track success metrics i define for any new feature i release as a Product Manager. Amplitude's deep integration with my product makes it very easy for me to track all metrics related to user behavior, usage patterns, adoption trends, etc.
Growth Marketing using Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
Capability to visualize and understand users action within the app. What are they doing? How frequently etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
When doing cohorts and trying to look at 1st time they did something gets tricky. Would love to have an easier way to build the cohort same way we can do while using segmentation for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help me understand users action within behavior and paths
A no-code customer behavioral analysis tool with high customizable features and analysis.
What do you like best about the product?
A wide variety of features and charts you can create to understand user behavior, conversion funnel, user segment, campaign performance and all other crucial metrics. I can quickly jump in Amplitude and help the team verify hypotheses, identify potential frictions, and enrich data-driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to advanced analysis, oftentimes I found I can put together multiple solutions in Amplitude, however, sometimes the results are all different which makes it hard to moving forward. In this context, I will either post my question in the Amplitude Slack Community or reach out to our data scientist and ask them to perform analysis from the raw data which in average, takes a few days to a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Conversion funeel analysis and identifing potential user frictions throughout the funnels
* Analyze metrics such as traffic, drop-off rate, conversion rate between desktop device users vs. mobile device users
* Breakdown marketing campaign performance with traffic, product quantity sold, revenue etc.

Expansive and comprehensive tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Amplitude for 3 years now, both as a marketer and as a product analyst, and it's safe to say it's my favorite analytics tool that I've ever used.
- The company continues to innovate - they've launched experimentation, session replays, in-app guides and surveys, and continue to make strides in marketing analytics and data. I've always used Amplitude for product analytics, but it's great to be able to consolidate other tools in our tech stack and have everything in one place!
- The community and support around Amplitude is incredible - I'm always able to find answers to my questions and get new ideas on how to approach a problem
- The educational resources are great - I love that they have resources on how to use Amplitude, but also analytics in general.
- It's intuitive and user-friendly - I've had great adoption across my company from marketing and product all the way to our leadership team.
- The depth of analysis options - all of the basic analytics tools are there, but they've released so much analytics functionality with innovative chart types and reporting tools. I haven't even explored them all in my 3 years as a user, but it definitely makes my life easier as an analyst and helps me learn as I go.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only blocker I've run into in my 3 years of using Amplitude is not being able to look back more than 365 days in the data! There are some creative ways to solve this, i.e. adding a YoY comparison or making multiple charts next to each other in a dashboard (i.e. 2025, 2024, 2023), but it would be nice to go back further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a product analyst, it makes it super easy for me to have critical product and company insights in one place for the entire organization to see. It saves me time having to compile a bunch of custom dashboards, makes it easy for stakeholders and other departments to find data that they need, and is intuitive enough to use that less technical stakeholders can customize an analysis!
Not sure how I'd do my job without it!
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is a masterclass in balancing extreme customization with ease of use. From implementation to chart creation, it's a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love that the pro plan only allows 5 cohorts, as we rely heavily on cohorting to send emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a small start up trying to find product market fit. Amplitude allows us to make data-driven decisions on features and prioritization that would otherwise be extremely difficult to make in its absence. We're also highly decentralized, so having an Executive Dashboard that is highly legible and easy to understand allows to have an asynchronous source of truth re: the health of our product across the organization.
Amplitude seems to offer much but not sure as a client, we are taking advantage of it all
What do you like best about the product?
I like the live events that I could actually see, especially when testing a new analytics tracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is so hard to understand the properties and amounts limitation that the system puts on us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help us to assess how much engagement we have for per feature. It also help us to debug a user's UX issues by watching the session.
Appealing and Functional
What do you like best about the product?
The way the tool represents the data is really easy to understand, Implementing new dashboards are also pretty easy.
Never had to look for customer support for the task that was assigned to me.
Never had to look for customer support for the task that was assigned to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some presets and guide on how to modify things in a detailed manner would be helpful for new user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solve a major problem for HubSpot as a business, We get the insights of how our customers are using the platform , tells us a lot about customer behaviour and helps us retain them making business strong.
Excellent product, expensive for viral b2c
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the ease of use, user interface and experience. Also easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had to had long emails with sales teams to enable addons. I ended up switching to a competitor because they wanted to charge me for a minimum of 10M events, and swith my plan to annual, both of which I couldn't afford.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use of analytics for the entire workforce, not just product team. Also clarity on what the users do and like doing.
