An unicorn of a product for those who understands the value of clickstream data

Amplitude understands the value of clickstream data and build a platform that is efficient and effective to extract those values

i hope some features gets cross-pollinated to other features.

Easy to set up, quick, understandable for other roles besides analysts.

Some of functionality is like a blackbox and hard to validate if it's correct.

the explanation is heavy and sometimes too abstract. It will be good if the documentation is also supported with explanation how to read data and the input parameter using example

quick analytics. It's beneficial because I dont need to raise ticket to data team to request simple data

Pricing is quite expensive and some features require an additional subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to amplitude we don't have an event tracking tool that is reliable and has a friendly reporting UI to enable self service.
Powerful Tools, Helpful Team
What do you like best about the product?
The UI/UX is very intuitive, even for a first-time user like me. The team is also very helpful and will happily guide you to get the best out of Amplitude features.

None that I can think of. Overall, I'm very happy with how things go with Amplitude.

Getting data is very quick, easy, and real-time. You can share the URL as well with your team. The various chart types are also great.

We use Amplitude for customer analytics. It is a super robust tool, which is used across multiple departments. We are getting a huge amount of benefits with its analytics abilities.

- User interface is far better than any other product in the same category
- Plenty of widgets and customizations

We can be independent in reporting on test performance, audience segmentation, user behavior analysis of different user segments.

1. Create analytics (Segmentation, Funnel, Conversion/Drop Off Journey, Cohorts) to get valuable insight easily. The conversion/drop off journey feature is also very impactful.
2. Manage data easily by being able to see the traffic and turn some events off/on easily
3. It's connected with Amplitude Experiment, which is super powerful

- Expensive and have limitation based on the number of events
- There is an additional cost to unlock more features like Unlimited Sync Cohort and Alerts. For Alerts, I expect it to be a standard feature.

- Tracking data easily (easy to implement, easy to debug)

- Getting insight from the data to solve problems around Activation Rate, Referral, Retention, etc, by understanding our User's Behaviour

Fantastic tool
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to implement and use. Have used many other analytics tools and Amplitude is by far my top recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish a few of their features were available in low-tier plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us get a near-complete understanding of our funnel without having to invest in building custom tooling.
