Efficient tool to track your app data.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the UX/UI Amplitude uses to visualize the data of your app allowing you to create correlated dashboards and charts that show you in a second key performance insights.
I also like the simplicity they have used for non-data people to manage and extract useful indicators about the performance and user experience of your app.
I also like the simplicity they have used for non-data people to manage and extract useful indicators about the performance and user experience of your app.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion Amplitude could make it a little bit easier to create and define events so it is more simple to interrelate different events in funnels specially. I find it somehow too techie for a business person to implement it from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows me to avoid missing vital information about my app and my users' experience from small bugs and problems that can be structured to different user experience flows that we hadn't thought in the first place.
Easy behavioural analytics
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to understand events occurring in the product, even with high product complexity, pretty detailed segmentation required etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to work with my data team (instead of using self-service Amplitude dashboards) to better understand product retention (SAAS specific, I guess), as Amplitude works better for describing "actions" than for describing "current status" of something. Eg. it's hard to pick a chart that tells you if the feature in my SAAS product is currently ON, or OFF. The only way known to me to do this is creating a funnel showing all ON and OFF events and trying to find the last one, which, done for hundreds of customers, doesn't help you much, as different customers may turn the feature on/off multiple times).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly understanding feature adoption and funnels, and also understanding feature usage e.g. it's stickiness or the trends.
Best in Class Premium Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude provides a range of products that makes it easy for businesses that requires digital product analytics. My favorite is the Ampltidue Experiments for AB testing which directly integrates with Amplitude Analytics, making it easy to identify & target experiments to a certain cohort. Amplitude team is also very active in supporting us during implementation & operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude can be considered as a premium tool since it's quite expensive compared to other product analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to implement & generating insights related to product analytics such as funnel conversion analysis, cohort analysis etc.
Powerful Highly Accesible Product Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to cut up the data and investigate from many angles. Built for sharing and growing data lead culture in org
What do you dislike about the product?
Onerous requirements for data modeling on customer side to be able to extract full value from the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing the product team to investigate and monitor their domains independently, empowering designers and pms to ask more questions while allowing Analaysts the time to research bigger questions
Powerful, but sometimes difficult to get work done
What do you like best about the product?
You can have multiple possibilities of analysis and graphics to answer your questions in many different ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
The usability is not the best of the world. Sometimes its difficult to find how to make questions you'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user journeys and optimizing it.
Robust and fairly easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn how to use the tool its intuitive enough to allow you to find the answer to your questions and easily experiment with other slices of the data sets
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it's unclear whether there is data for a particular event or not, so it would be nice if the tool only showed events with data associated with it so that you don't waste time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics for lifecycle marketing, general KPIs like active users, growth metrics, conversion metrics, churn, and retention metrics. On lifecycle, we can get a pretty good idea of whether an email is working.
Simple and complete analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility of creating multiple graphs and visualizations relatively quickly. Funnels, user composition, events segmentation and over-time behavior of users are easily retrievable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not particularly like the visualization options of graphs and dashboards, since they are quite essential although sufficient for their use. I guess it is only a matter of personal taste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows me and my team to track user behavior on different mobile apps. We create funnels and monitor metrics, events and user properties over different time spans.
Most intuitive analytics platform I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
Once you have your events in place, Amplitude makes it easy to build charts and analyze data. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, so I can focus on actually having my questions answered through data rather than trying to figure out how to do that. The possibility of building dashboards is also significant since I can put every relevant metric in a single place to check daily or weekly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need to use custom metrics, but I still didn't find an easy way to do that, or at least their solution isn't customizable enough for my use cases. Maybe that's because I use their most basic plan and don't have access to more advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is my primary tool for analyzing user experience data. My team and I have built some dashboards, and I keep track of essential metrics weekly using them.
Far and away the best analytics tool for deep contextual understanding in a Matrix org
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to share information, manage taxonomy, and organize all of our different product area's analysis base on the creator of the content. The personalization of that dashboard and speed to insight is incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a steep learning curve for a junior development team and it takes a long time to onboard, but the destination is absolutely worth it. I have also found that there are a few trap doors that lead to nowhere in our implementation and that can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We finally have instrumentation that allows us to see which users do what, and most importantly, where their jounrey takes them before and afterwards. In our product, that is crucial to improving the UX.
It´s a world of possibilities within your data.
What do you like best about the product?
Comparing multiple events in time to understand my consumer behavior and campaign effectiveness
What do you dislike about the product?
It´s not an easy tool to learn, I would appreciate more intro sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Is helping me analyze my sales and my consumer behavior to offer a more effective and personalize shopping experience online.
