Integration to send alerts from Zabbix to Rocket Chat
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very good NOC tool and I have no problems using it. I can monitor my entire environment with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the menu could be more intuitive and sometimes the integration with Grafana doesn't work very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now I have a NOC for all my network equipment in my organization thanks to Zabbix.

Flexible and safe platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Zabbix is not just for data visualization but also technical support from professionals. This makes it helpful for users to get customized help and even request certain features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how crowded some features are, such as the blog, forum, newsletter, and community area. If there are so many options of how to connet to communities, users can get overwhelmed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving the problem of compiling many cloud service infrastructures for users and business to use to grow their business, as well as benefit from a wide range of professional services.
Difficult to Setup
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility to monitor multiple applications and view their status in a single dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to setup. The install and setup process required strong technical skills.

Great monitoriong tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to install and use. The graphics are much better than Nagios, as well.

It would be nice if it were agentless...

We were using Nagios for years, but Zabbix is simpler to maintain (has an API for configuration), and provides a better representation/visualization of your data.

Easy to monitor assets. Provides access to log files too.

Querying is a bit sophisticated. Still its ok to gather info from it

Allows realtime monitoring of assets. Also provides a mean to schedule alerts to make monitoring efficient

What do you like best about the product?
All sorts of options and the contents that we can monitor using Zabbix are hassle-free. Easy to use and has many options that we can work with it. The complete infrastructure we are monitoring using Zabbix with less effort and more time saving
What do you dislike about the product?
While monitoring the connected networks and the virtual systems it seems to be more confusing and tougher to find the relevant information about the systems. Other than that we don't have any dislikes.

We are monitoring all the networks and a virtual machine and also we are monitoring the application performance and how it works all the time. We also get real-time analytics and also which helps us to know the issues with the relevant systems.

Zabbix is a recent open source technology then it was able to catch all the best by previous technologies, such as Nagios, Pandora and so on.

Low quality dashboard graph. Generally I need to integrate Grafana to Zabbix to display data and information generated by Zabbix in order to have a better hestetical view

Intuitive GUI and the availability of many plugins

Lots of plugins, very powerful, expandable. Runs on many different architectures.

Can be quirky with flaky connections. Active vs. passive connections can be confusing for new administrators.
