Easy and straightforward functions with no anything to underline as Matterport functionalities issues and the easy on features customization is also a big point for Matterport and effective services generation.

I like the speed of the stitching and the impact it has on my client

I think there should be a starter package under $50 for 10 or less spaces.

I'm helping clients get more views on google , and I'm seeing the benefits of new market share for my clients

Spend a few hours editing a mock scan and get familiar with the technology. It will help the sales process .

Quality of the digital twin created, featuers that are modular, good UX experience on the account site - dashboard

It was pretty long to find the right contact person and adequate help for conducting IT risk assessment for a client who needed a secure cloud service

3D showcase businesses, getting point cloud for CAD designs - AEC, working out a product to be able to sell it as an industry learning platform
Matterport Pro2 camera + Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The excellent quality of the rendering created by this camera, together with the ease of use of all the capture, viewing and editing software of the Matterport platform, which allows anyone to create a digital twin of a real space, even if they are not an experienced photographer or an IT person.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some projects that require more security, I would like to have the possibility to restrict the access to users identified through login and password (with 2FA) instead of using only one password for each space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Matterport provides the best sensation of physically being inside a real space without being there, especially if one uses the VR option. The speed and quality of the final result are unmatched by other similar solutions at this price level.

What do you like best about the product?
As a Real Estate Photographer it's essential to provide floor plans. So i use the software and camera to cut my measuring time by at least half.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using the Onex camera and I find the quality after processing isn't as amazing on a large as the actual Matterport camera but perfect on a phone screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was stitching my tours together with other software. Extremely time consuming for an average result. Saves so much time.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is what keeps me using this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scan is not accurate, and the ordered plans do not show all the details (columns or posts missing). Often times, the floors do not align up in the plans ordered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Matterport allows meetings with clients and other designers without meeting on site. This is especially helpful with the current pandemic. It also allows for record keeping of as-is condition.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If accuracy is what you need, you will likely have to look at Lidar scanners like the Leica BLK360. However, if you need As-Build's and you can still confirm certain measurements, the Matterport will be just fine.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the super simple app; it's so easy to quickly capture my virtual tour using my Insta 360 and my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would like it to more easily create a simple fly through video with my own path.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Matterport to allow virtual tours of my 2 holiday rental properties, it allows guests to get a real feel for the size and furnishing of the properties. Also great that I can add to Google street view.
