Pega and Openspan Review
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ability to create RDA and RPA solutions. We also liked the design studio it seemed very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
We didn't feel like the support was there to fix our problems. Everything was troubleshooting and it took too long to get to solutions. Moreover, the product never really worked well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are no longer solving any. We removed the platform.

UI in Pega platform have improved a lot. We are thrilled with success of RPA in number of engagements.

Confusion of bundling many things under AI umbrella. Most other large AI players position them differently.

Multiple - claims adjudication engine, customer service, numerous robotics solutions

Pega is the future of Digital Process Automation and Business Intelligence Technology. The way Pega is growing, it is high time we do not delay investing in this technology if we have already not done so.
Pega is Great for Case Management
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility that Pega gave our organization to create a "Get Next" Case Management platform was just what we needed as our business was evolving and requirements were sometimes changing. In several different instances, we had to adjust the search engine, dropdown menus, attachment interface, etc. And each change was not only POSSIBLE, but relatively easily done.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had a problem maintaining strong performance (quick response times) from our Pega-based platform as the size of the database grows. We have tried different ways to store attachments that will increase our efficiency but still struggle with this problem over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a clinical case management system from scratch. We have benefited greatly from the flexibility of this platform as the business grows and changes.

Ensure you have the proper team in place to support this platform going forward.

System does not crash often but have to work outside of it alot

What do you like best about the product?
PEGA is a workflow tool and it has strong&elagant product features to solve biz problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no such dislikes but I would like PEGA to be #1 in AI, Robotic area.

We are using PEGA to enroll the customers for the selected plan/product for our biz. Our application is running on mobile and desktop versions and we have a built a PEGA workflow to work on biz requirements.

Materials and how to's are not easily available to design or troubleshoot.

nothing in specific. But i think it could be better if better help guideliness are provided for the new tools that get added in the newer version of pega like repository etc

Step by Step Rule Driven Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy claims processing software. Makes the process very efficient and has the options to easily update rules surrounding the work flow. Maintenance and training costs are minimal and the benefits are optimal. Highly recommended
What do you dislike about the product?
You need a certified team to develop and deploy the software even though the sales pitch will say all functions are out of the box. To get it right- you must get a Pega partner to develop your solution

What do you like best about the product?
intelligent, easy to deploy automation for the insurance sector, the case lifecycle of Pega is very much suited for this type of process. Easily create intelligent, dynamic business rules that fully capture your objectives and best practices, and use those rules to drive automated processes

You will need a Pega certified architect to deploy this- it is not an out of the box solution. Some type of configuration and customization is required.

Hotel claims, credit card authorization issues and travel reimbursements

Financial processes with in banks. The benefits are visualizing the process by the business to find loopholes in process and design and develop an effective Business Process.

Pega helps to bring the business and IT together which in turn helps to develop better and robust applications for the organisation. Also with Agile way of working, Pega can actually help to build application pretty fast as compared to other competitors.
