Pega, the pros and cons
What do you like best about the product?
Customisability and ease of use its software provides are definitely highlights of the PEGA platform. Aside from this there is generally less coding which helps to eliminate user orientated errors, making everything a lot more transparent in terms of what can has gone right and what has gone wrong. Generally speaking, the PEGA platform promotes adaptation to change and quick developments .
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is a need to integrate external products to complete what you are trying to achieve, there may be compatibility issues with regards to potentially having to rewrite certain aspects of your project to allow for this to happen. It can be pretty expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using this product during part of my training to learn the platform incase of future use. There is plenty of supporting documentation, and tutorials to help you learn about the product.

Good Pega Robotics Desktop Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The product is straightforward, easy to learn and has lots of compatible applications to get automated. One has to be knowledgeable though on robotics desktop best practices to ensure that one is doing it correctly. It is also imperative for the business to learn RDA versus RPA, otherwise, you may be using the tool incorrectly and as intended.
What do you dislike about the product?
A readily available intelligent reporting, an easier deployment strategy, and perhaps better AI integration

Pega resolves day-to-day repetitive process by automating and helping desktop users. It solves hours of doing them manually.

Vendor dependency - understanding the class structure is important and it eventually causes organization or project teams to be dependent on the vendor.

Implementing a new customer care tool. Pega allowed collection of real-time Data, interactions and transactions across disparate systems of records which brought real-time & contextual view of the customer without overloading

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pega truly provides a complete Omni Channel solution which allows you to build once and deploy many times across all your channels (Mobile, Social, frontline, Back Office). Pega can be used to link heritage systems and mission critical applications to your front office and your wider customer base in a scale that no other BPM solution can provide.
Reliable platform, good customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Great number of reusable/ OOTB components giving less effort on development but still flexible for complex business requirements. They also have a good customer service for their product issue and concern. Their training courses are also accessible online which is a good one given the expensive cost when you have an onsite training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exclusivity of reference information. Pega has its own developer site where they share helpful information as well as the developers however to access it, you have to be a member of their client/ partner which is a challenge when you are a freelance/ disengaged with those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extending the access of the system to the external users - reducing the use of papers on application and effort on lodgment.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implementing Pega is quite a cost, but it's all worth it.
It has to be combined with good application design and good understanding of the business requirement to apply the most suitable product/ framework Pega can offer to reduce the development work/ improve the business process

Very easy and adaptive

Less coding and very easily we can build whole bdm project

Nothing is here which can be say wrong in pega

Making whole business development process and it takes very less time.
Fast and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working on PEGA platform for more than 10 years now. I have seen PEGA grow, grow into a better product. They have made the product easier to customize, and now the applications are faster to implement with their frameworks and great easy to use almost drag and drop features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a tendency of over promising by the sales team, although sales team is very competent, they set the expectation so high that it is impossible to meet by technical team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating business processes, building rule engines and routing and tracking work items made it easier to work on, especially their out of the box features, such as Audit feature is great.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been working on pega systems for more than a year now, it gives an ease for enchantments and customization's. With its rule management it made our work really easy

Growth will be limited only to PEGA is solely working on pega

We are now using PEGA instead of TIBCO in our business cycle. PEGA provides diversified interaction options when compared to others

What do you like best about the product?
We really using the cloud instances for our offshore developers. We also liked the cloud instances as a QA /Demo environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had issues with integration and the ability to keep the version control up to date. We need to do a better job as a team managing that area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were solving for customer call satisfaction in a 24/7 environment. The benefit was partially realized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to allow the Pega team to help in the planning to prevent issues down the road. We cut our ASD short which caused a lot of issues in DCO. We also were not clear on the scope of the work that we were doing. We needed to trust the process.

The complexity and changes made to customize it.

No problem, we were upgrading our call center to have more customer interactions.
Aging framework doesn't meet modern needs

It has solid tools for back end developers to build a decent UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets clunky fast and does not support complex features. Our IT team feels constrained by the application's limitations
