We started using HelloSign as a cheaper alternative to Docusign.
What do you like best about the product?
It's cheaper than DocuSign.
It has a feature to make a template link that can be repeatedly entered through a single link.
It is the basics and just what we need. We really just needed it to create a template link and don't need reporting features.
We love that email has to be verified

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the interface is hard to navigate and its confusing where to find different things and some buttons like the "next" button that appears in the top right is so small that it is easily missed.
I wish that forms could be sent to a specific email, not just the person filling it out and the owner of the form.
The people that use the form don't like that they have to follow the link sent to their email rather than just beginning the form.
I wish that there were more options in the form creation like radio buttons, dropdowns, attachments.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that HelloSign is a per year cost rather than a per signed document cost is a great draw. Since this is a form that we need filled out every day, its nice that the link never changes and there is no limit.
We needed a solution like HelloSign for an easy, verified way for our carpenters to submit their timesheets every day after working. We have it set up to our timesheets inbox so that when someone fills out the form, we get a copy there and the carpenter receives a copy

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to simplify your forms before adding them to HelloSign. I wish that the form I used was simplified so that it would have automatically detected the fields easier

Decent Signing Experience
What do you like best about the product?
it's a clean interface and looks nice. It's relatively easy to use, and pretty intuitive for new users. In some ways it's nice that it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles as it's straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks some of the more complex functionality of DocuSign, which I'd prefer to HelloSign because of that. Specifically, in HelloSign you can't create a template link if your document has more than one signer, which is something I used extensively in DocuSign. In HelloSign, I was able to make the template but instead of just sending a link to someone and having it route an NDA directly to my CEO, I have to go into HelloSign, use the template, and type in the email addresses for both the external signer and my CEO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital signing is table stakes these days! It does make it super easy to get signatures.
Very simple and responsive system. Have been using them for about 2 years, and they are perfect.

How simple to add fields. The drag and drop is just awesome and simple.

Nothing really, the platform meets all my needs.

contracts and seing when the clients actually saw the contracts.

Being able to offer a simple eSignature solution has been advantageous for us.
Easy To Use
What do you like best about the product?
HelloSign is very easy to use and minimalist, I like that. The only thing I would change is to have more of a variety of fields to choose from to add to a document. You can work around what's there but that's the only thing the other guys have over you. Other than that I would recommend HelloSign, I use it for my bookkeeping, HR, payroll, and tax clients it's definitely a lifesaver. Please keep posted on any additions or new features made, this software could always get better. But please don't take away the things that are great about it now.

Not enough options for fields to add to documents, that's all I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to have almost a 100% paperless virtual office. So I'm saving tons in postage, time, and travel and it enables me to have clients all over the country not just locally.
Easy to use, better pricing than competitors
What do you like best about the product?
The interface for managing documents and creating fields for signature are much easier to understand that other competitors, and I've looked at several.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing for all of these services feels way too high, but obviously they are priced for the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More efficient document handling and delivery/response. Saves postage, time, and gives official digital copies to store for ease of retrieval later.
Impressed with "Business" Plan
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are step-by-step prompts for setting up and sending the document for e-signature, and the fact that reminders are automatically sent to signees is really helpful. I've not had a lot of opportunities to use the "template" feature, but can see how it will be very convenient for future work.
The basic "Business" plan provides enough coverage for our multiple team members to obtain electronic signatures for their various projects, and it has been really easy for me, as the team administrator, to add/edit members as needed. I think many other small teams like mine could really benefit from this level of plan, and the cost is very affordable.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a "FAQ" type page available directly within the account so that users who are less familiar with the platform feel more supported. (The step-by-step prompts when setting up a document for e-signature are great, but I have teammates who are brand new to the concept of electronic signatures and afraid of "breaking" something.) I know there's a "FAQ" link at the bottom of the account page, but it's not very obvious (might be better placed on the lefthand sidebar under "sign documents" / etc.).
I would also appreciate more viewing options in the "Documents" section of the account. It's helpful to be able to filter by what documents have been signed (vs. out for signature, etc.), but it would be even better if there was an option to filter by which user prepared/sent the document. Additionally, beyond the "status" / "title" / "date" columns displayed, I would appreciate an additional always-on column showing the document signers and/or a screenshot of what the document actually looked like, since it can be hard to mentally keep track of everything when I have multiple documents out for signature.

I haven't experienced any problems with HelloSign so far. The greatest benefit has been the amount of time I've saved by being able to use one platform to quickly send documents for signature.

I love how easy hello sign is for clients. No complicated hoops to jump through just to sign. Their user interface is clean and simple without lacking necessary functions. All this helps me save time and make a more pleasant experience for clients. I use hello sign over the free program provided by my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an app that let me do everything from my phone.
