Universally Accessible and Incredibly Easy to Use

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and it's universal. Even people that don't have an account can easily figure out how to get or look at a file link that is shared by email, online, or through text message. Sync management is top notch. It ticks all the boxes making it an application that I can lean on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The online only files can be troublesome. When I save a file sometimes it won't save the first time and I have to try again at which point it does work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps my important files synced with all of my devices making it easy to work from anywhere. it's cross platform so I can access files from my phone, iPad, or log on from a web terminal.

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for ten years to save personal files, including important memories such as my wedding and honeymoon pictures. I appreciate the simplicity of setting up Dropbox; just logging in and dropping files makes it a piece of cake to use. It effectively solves the problem of keeping my personal files stored separately from my work files on OneDrive, ensuring my private data is managed independently. The feature I find most useful is the ability to access Dropbox from multiple devices, which provides me with the flexibility and convenience to manage my files from wherever I am. Additionally, I have it linked to Microsoft Office, which allows me to open files directly from Word and Excel seamlessly. Dropbox meets all my needs perfectly, which is why I rate it so highly and would recommend it to a friend or colleague with a score of 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Great as is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to store personal files, keeping them separate from my work OneDrive. Its accessibility from multiple devices is highly useful.

What do you like best about the product?
It doesn't profit from selling my personal information, which I really appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I find it difficult to come up with anything about DropBox that bothers me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use DropBox for storing personal files that don't require a lot of space, such as those with smaller MB or GB sizes. It's dedicated to my non-work-related items, like real estate documents, tax records, and similar materials.

Dependable for Large File Sharing, But Needs Smoother UI

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Dropbox provides a straightforward setup process, which made it easy for me to begin using it without hassle. I really value its ability to store and share large files, especially those that are too big for email, which allows me to make them available to friends and family. This functionality is crucial as I store videos and large Microsoft Word documents, like a book with 362 pages. I've already recommended Dropbox to a friend, so I'm quite satisfied with this aspect of the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it challenging at times to figure out how to store files. It seemed to take a long time to get files uploaded, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the process for organizing files is not straightforward. After selecting files and placing them in a folder, I was often required to go back and locate the original files again, making the organization less efficient than it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox enables me to share large files that can't be emailed, making them available to friends and family easily.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very convenient and can / does provide much storage capacity for documents / files. It is also a trusted brand. I use it frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
On a few occasions, there have been issues with documents not syncing. For example, when one document is updated, I have found on several occasions that the document was not updated when accessing it from a different device hours / days later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not sure what Dropbox is currently solving in the way of issues, but the fact that I am being asked for a review / my opinion, it shows that someone behind the company cares enough to identify potential issues.
