Convenient and Reliable Storage
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Mac desktop at home office. Recovery tools and reliable storage over time. Capacity to accomodate large number of files. Preview options and recent improvements make tracking and finding files better and faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looks a lot like some aspects of Google Drive. It would help to visually know which drive I am in just at a glance so I do not mix them up. The overall appearance could use some "branding" efforts to make a paid for service appear more of a value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintainence of records and sharing of records across multiple machines and locations.
Long time user of DropBox - Essentials

What do you dislike about the product?
Things I would like to see.
When opening a document that is shared with a colleague, (office document in my experience). When using the desktop version of the application (excel) it locks up the file often. If mutlple people are working on the same file and everyone is using Excel in the Browswer (web edition) it works perfectly.
Need to minimize using full application when working in collaboration with other team members.

Intuitive and clean
What do you like best about the product?
Started with Dropbox and others - ended up using Dropbox for good due to the simplicity and intuitiveness of its functions. Being able to simply just upload/download and make folders - especially the drag/drop makes it heavily used by my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far - if Dropbox does some updates (like Adobe did recently with Acrobat) which make it hard to use and confusing - then I will be an unhappy person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is allowing my business to transfer/receive large files without postage, using disks, or worrying about cumbersome email attachments. To be able to have shared folders is great.
Does Exactly What it Needs to Do!
What do you like best about the product?
It works perfectly as an archive to store all of my old photos. It's easy to use to share files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. It works just fine.

It lets me share files easily and without hassle.
The system works as a cloud storage very well.
What do you like best about the product?
I can create a local folder that syncs automatically with the cloud. Setting which files/holders need to be synced is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not need features in addition to the cloud storage and I do not want to pay the extra fee for the unnecessary service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not solve problems, but Dropbox is used for efficient utilizations of many computers for my own work.
A useful tool to backup or share files.
What do you like best about the product?
The automatic photo backup. Being able to easily share files with someone else.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is working in organizations that block file sharing sites like dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is allowing for easy collaboration of files. It isn't always the right solution, but it is another tool in the box.
Reliable product that adds flexibility and backup.
What do you like best about the product?
All my active files are backed up, so if my computer crashes, I just have to find a working computer to get started again. I also like how easy it is to use, and share files with my clients. Dropbox lets me keep my own file hierarchy and works as if its inside my OS. I use Dropbox for all my work files, throughout the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of my clients, especially the older ones, have trouble with using Dropbox. I don't know if it's because they don't want to upgrade to a paid version, if they don't know how to manage their files within Dropbox, or what. But I've had so much trouble with clients using the service. One client I have a shared Dropbox folder with, and hers constantly falls out of sync and no longer updates. I do not know why or what is happening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It adds a level of agility to my backup files - if my computer crashes, I only need to find another computer (with design software installed) to get back up and running. I like that I can share and maintain folders with my clients, but also that I can restrict access to things.
i use it to transfer files in between computers without a USB

Powerful, but it lacks other features from Microsoft
What do you like best about the product?
It was very pioneer in this matter, as a cloud drive, but today OneDrive from Microsoft combines it with several others features included.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to its competition, Dropbox lacks other functions such as Office suite, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to integrate and recover, so as OneDrive offered from Microsoft.
