Unmatched Reliability and Speed After 20 Years
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is its reliability and speed. Unlike many other cloud services, it just works. I’ve been using Dropbox for about 20 years now, and honestly, I’ve never once had a serious sync issue — that says a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like is that Dropbox doesn’t integrate with Samsung Notes on my Galaxy Tab. It’d be great if I could save or sync notes directly through Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox really helps with teamwork. I use shared folders with other researchers to code in R, Stata, and Python, and to handle big datasets. Everything stays in sync, which saves us a ton of time.
Effortless File Sharing, But Costly Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I find Dropbox incredibly useful for sharing and receiving assets with clients, mainly due to its capability to manage large file sizes that are typically too big to send via email. This feature is really helpful as it simplifies the process of file sharing and enhances collaboration. I love the ease of use that Dropbox offers, making it accessible and straightforward to navigate, which is essential for efficient workflow. The initial setup of Dropbox was very easy, which made transitioning to the platform seamless. Overall, the combination of easy usability, effective large file management, and straightforward setup makes Dropbox an invaluable tool in my daily operations, and I'd highly recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to pay for a certain amount of storage with Dropbox. Initially, I find the service very useful for sharing and receiving large files, but it becomes annoying when I reach the storage limit and am required to pay for more space. This seems like a constraint, especially when working with large datasets or files regularly, making the overall cost management a bit challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to share large files easily with clients when email isn't feasible, and I appreciate its ease of use and ability to handle large file sizes.

I love using Dropbox for storing and retrieving photos, specifically my granddaughter's senior pictures. The images turned out beautifully, making the experience delightful. I find the program easy to use, even though it required some initial navigation owing to my unfamiliarity with the software. The feature that allows me to recover accidentally deleted pictures is incredibly valuable. It gives me peace of mind knowing my precious photos are safe and retrievable. I also appreciate the convenience of accessing Dropbox as an app on my phone, making it readily available for my needs. Overall, my ability to capture, store, and enjoy important memories like my granddaughter's pictures makes Dropbox a highly useful tool for me.
