Great Storage App

  • March 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using DropBox since its first launch and have loved it. I believe I started using it just a few months ago. I used it with my students to share information and add their homework to a shared folder. I also like that it is more private and has a higher level of security than Google. My IT friends use it as a safer and more secure way to share sensitive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the newer apps are okay; I just haven't had time to explore them. I also lost some photos in the Dropbox photo file, which is public. The samething happened in iCloud. For all of my photos I tend to store them in Google Photos, but I do still store a few in DropBox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can share content with others easily and efficiently without worrying about security.

App of the apps

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, has very good integration of the mobile app (Android) in uploading and downloading files and easily becomes a companion to daily needs of keeping important files close and on-the-go. I use it everyday, in the context of work (and in the search for a new job) and leisure.
I am a part of a musical group and we use Dropbox to have all our musical sheets, files, documents as so forth readily available to all members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst part for the general user is the space limit. I am a long time user, so I participated in many online events and managed to amass a decent number of GBs to be perfectly happy with Dropbox myself :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with making files available on the go, whether we are in the office, on external service or from home, readily syncronized with all changes.
