Effortless and Intuitive, Perfect for Business Use

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Dropbox for its simplicity and ease of use, which makes the setup process straightforward and effortless. Its interface is appealing and intuitive, which encourages me to continue using it. I find the scan option particularly valuable, as it simplifies document digitization and management. The ability to keep my records organized, with each folder representing a different property, is crucial for my work. It allows me to store everything, such as pictures and related documents, in one place. Dropbox's accessibility is a standout feature, enabling me to share and access my files from anywhere, whether from my phone, office, or home. The search functionality is efficient, making it easy to locate almost anything I need. This ease of navigation, paired with the ability to place scanned documents in desired locations with ease, significantly enhances my workflow. I like Dropbox so much that I’ve decided to keep using it, as it integrates well with other tools I use like Google Drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that Dropbox doesn't allow real-time document changes across different devices without creating multiple copies. This often leads to confusion and clutter with duplicate files. Streamlined collaboration is crucial for me, and this limitation makes it less efficient when working on documents simultaneously from different locations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to organize records by keeping them divided by property and access them from anywhere, enhancing my accessibility and organization. The scan and search options are crucial for easy navigation and locating files efficiently.

Effortless Cloud Storage with Dropbox

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox to store pictures and run my business, and I've been doing so for about five years. I appreciate how Dropbox allows me to have different folders to categorize my photographs and videos, making organization easy. The setup process was very straightforward and easy, which is important to me. In my personal life, Dropbox provides a solution for storing pictures and photographs that I don't have space for on my phone in the cloud. In my professional life, it allows me to store videos and pictures of furniture that I sell for my business. I find the ability to make different folders and have them available on my phone, as well as online, most useful. I also use Dropbox alongside Photoshop, which helps me in editing my photos. Overall, I value the storage capability of Dropbox as it meets my needs and supports both my personal and professional activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Dropbox no longer has the ability to easily see the most recent uploads. It's frustrating because I have to jump through several hoops to access my most recent files. I would prefer to have all my uploads displayed chronologically with the most recent ones at the top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to store photos and videos I can't fit on my phone, organizing them into folders for easy access in my business and personal life.

Seamless Integration, Occasional Sync Delays

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is used pretty heavily by vendors that we work with. I have it running all the time, and the menulet is very convenient to use. It is unobtrusive and fits right in with the rest of the mass storage services on my Mac.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sync seems a bit "off". Usually if I just give it a minute it works it self out, I just have to be a little careful about versioning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files across multiple university organizations, or even multiple universities. Also receiving files from vendors.

Great Mobile Access and Sync, But Sharing and Plan Options Need Improvement

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the phone app and being able to access important docs on the fly. Also love the integration with my computer and being able to sync files to my computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really liked the Passwords app, and I'm going to miss that. I wish there was an easier way to share documents or certain access. Also would like a plan for me and one other person instead of the family plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I need important docs I can access them quickly with my phone. And when I'm using my computer at home, everything is easily available when I need it.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Dropbox for its ease of use, intuitiveness, and ability to quickly and easily share documents with clients and colleagues. Using Dropbox means I don't have to send confidential documents via email, avoiding potential issues with email filters, allowing me to share large files seamlessly in real time. The platform facilitates editing and reviewing documents collaboratively, enhancing my workflow with clients. Dropbox’s structure, which is reminiscent to many of my older clients, makes the interaction easy and efficient for them. I value Dropbox's features such as setting up shared folders and modifying access for team members as projects evolve. This functionality is ideal for organizing and managing various documents within the platform, further enhancing its usability for professional settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"Dropbox sometimes has complexities when managing multiple devices such as phones, tablets, and computers. This makes staying on top of the system feel like a full-time job.","Switching between different devices on Dropbox can be unnecessarily complex and could be simplified.","Editing documents in Dropbox isn't as easy as in Google Docs. This makes it slightly more difficult to interact with documents, despite the overall structure being user-friendly for older clients."}

Dropbox allows me to securely share large and confidential documents without email issues, providing real-time collaboration and editing with clients and colleagues.
