One of the best things ever

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is one of my most essential tools, which I use daily. It perfectly syncs my working folders between MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, iPhone and iPad. I couldn't work efficiently without it. I have been using Dropbox for more than 10 years.

There are horrible imitators out there, notable Microsoft OneDrive and Apple's iCloud Drive, both of which are mediocre at best.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit expensive. I'd like it to be closer to $100 a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just the overall synchronization between multiple devices, that's my primary use.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Getting Dropbox setup and implemented was fast as easy. Customer support is easy to reach in case of any issues. I like being able to share and access my files and documents across multiple devices of mine. Whether it be a desktop, laptop, mobile phone or device, I'm able to access them easily and securely at any time. Integrating DropBox into my day-to-day functions was seamless, and I am able to use Dropbox everyday to manage my files and documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large files sometimes take long time to upload. Also, availability to edit a file document at the same time is not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping me to share, access and manage my files and devices across multiple devices.

File Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
I really like dropbox for file sharing and management: it is easy to send links for other people to view my files, especially helpful for as I update deigns and file layouts. It organizes peoples comments very easily so I can go through them and improve the designs. I also enjoy the revision history and how it integrates with the file managment system on devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside I have encountered is that the UX for windows file explorer is different from the UX for OS finder. Its been taking some time to get used to and I definetly prefer the OS UX better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File sharing and cloud backup. Benefits me to organize my files and trust that they are safe in the cloud.

How to do live WITHOUT Dropbox?

  • March 17, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Not only is a means for storage. It allows me to "computer hop" and access the same important files when needed. File sharing between clients is also useful!
What do you dislike about the product?
File sharing sometimes is clunky. Not sure if it's just me or the platform. I've been on for years and I still have to remind myself how it's done
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow access to my files regardless of where I am and what computer I am on
