Easy, Convenient Cloud File Sharing and Safekeeping

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy and convenient way for anyone to share files and / or keep them in the cloud for safekeeping.
What do you dislike about the product?
While not as frequent as other services, the reminders to upgrade are mildly irritating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me share large files with others. Some files are too large to be sent as attachments in email. Dropbox helps avoid the need to create a zipped archive with files split. Some recipients don't know how to reassemble files split into zipped archives. I also use it to keep some of my files in the cloud, where they are easily available to me wherever I may be, as long as I have a phone or laptop with an internet connection.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their collaborative tools allow for quick and effective synchronization, even with files that have long names and paths.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox to store files and it makes sharing very simple. I really like that I can send a simple link so others can download or view large files, which is great because email often has file size limits. Large file transfers are easy with Dropbox. The initial setup of Dropbox was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find file version history limitations frustrating, especially with the 30-day limit on a free account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox lets me send large files without email limits, simplifies file sharing with links, and makes large file transfers easy.

Reliable Cloud Storage for Easy File Sharing and Collaboration

  • March 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is very easy to use and makes file storage and sharing simple. The interface is clean and intuitive, so uploading, organizing, and accessing files from any device is quick. I especially like the seamless synchronization across devices and the ability to share files or folders with teammates using secure links. It also integrates well with other tools, making collaboration smooth and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that the free storage is limited compared to some other cloud storage platforms. Sometimes large file uploads can take longer depending on internet speed, and the pricing for higher storage plans may feel slightly expensive for individual users. More storage in the free tier would make the service even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me store, organize, and access important files from anywhere without worrying about losing data. It makes collaboration easier by allowing quick file sharing and real-time access for team members. This is especially useful for managing documents, project files, and media content efficiently while working remotely or across multiple devices.

Seamless Sync and Simple Setup for Personal Projects

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Dropbox for my personal development projects. What I like most about Dropbox is its reliable file syncing and simplicity. Once I place a file in my Dropbox folder, it automatically syncs across my devices without requiring any extra setup. This is really helpful when working on personal development projects because I can access the same project files whether I'm on my main laptop or another machine. Another feature I find useful is easy folder organization and file recovery. I can keep different project folders separated and quickly find configuration files, scripts, or documentation when needed. The version history and file recovery options are also helpful in case I accidentally modify or delete something important. I also appreciate that Dropbox runs quietly in the background and doesn’t interrupt my workflow. It just keeps my files updated and backed up automatically, which makes it a convenient tool for managing small development resources and project-related files. File syncing ensures my updated files are available on all my devices without manual transfer. Simplicity makes it easy to manage files without spending time on setup. Folder organization helps me keep different projects and configuration files structured. File recovery and version history are useful in case I accidentally overwrite or delete something, since I can quickly restore a previous version.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is the limited storage in the free plan, which fills up quickly if you store multiple project files or backups. Also, sometimes the syncing process can be a bit slow when dealing with larger folders. Another area for improvement would be better collaboration features in the free tier, since some useful options are only available in paid plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to manage and access important project files across devices, maintaining backups and syncing automatically. It simplifies file management, organizes folders easily, and provides file recovery and version history, ensuring I don't lose important configurations. Its reliability and simplicity save me time.
