Great product for sharing and editing with colleagues.
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to easily organize and edit documents and files, and sharing into the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Dropbox does not sync well between the app and website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it works, this is a greatness product for team sharing and editing. This also saves much time as it eliminates loaded and slow email attachments.

What do you like best about the product?
Pros: They have a free version (limited storage) that you can use to try it out. The more you share, the more storage they give you. Extremely easy to use, great drag and drop feature, and you can limit people's access to editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cons: Free version has limited storage. If multiple people are using it within your business, some people may quickly run out of storage. You can either start paying or just use Dropbox to transfer large files easily and then removing them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to transfer files back and forth that are too big for email.

Check business vs. free version to know which will fit your needs best.
Best & easiest cloud storage
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox allows me to sync all of my files between all of my devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes. I have not found any issues using it over the past few years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of my client files is #1. I feel secure having my entire business backed up on dropbox. And the Sync folders directly on my desktop makes it easy to access any file at any time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the worry about secure cloud file storage out of your day to day, and get rid of trying to figure out where files are. Sign up with Dropbox (free up to a certain amount of storage) and very cost effective for a subscription.

I love how easy to use it is across multiple platforms. It's always ready to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fees for over 1 TB; I realize they need to charge a fee, but this is the only downside to this product/service.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it syncs with all of my devices and a large amount of memory. It makes practice management more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could edit documents directly while in dropbox and not have to download them first. The cost has gone up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access to files and records. Helps with record keeping.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is everywhere I need it. They keep updating, adding smart features, and improving user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Call me naive, but I honestly haven't found anything to dislike about Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I need to save anything for any project, venture, personal or business, it goes into a DropBox folder. Forget running out of storage on your hard drive or an external drive. It's peace of mind in the cloud.

Admittedly, I have not used Box or any other cloud-based storage app, but then again, I haven't needed to move away from Dropbox.
The best for academic work and file sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I can access all of my work for any role from anywhere, and nothing is ever lost. I can also easily share documents, and get to what I need, literally from anywhere, even from my phone, if need be.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the absolute best for collaborating, because users can change or corrupt files. They can also delete things from folders, depending on permissions.

I have access to my files at all times. It also helps with file sharing and collaboration.
Seamless Multi-system file storage
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to access my files on every device I use.

It does not always play well with Webroot.

Dropbox use with Adobe Lightroom shared catalogues
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is easy to use, clients love it and we can share photo and video files easily amongst our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit confusiing, using the folders on your drive, syncing to the cloud and making it cloud optional. After a bit of work it gets easier. Knowing it is always able to restore your assets is comforting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Dropbox to synchronize our lighrroom catalogues and assets between us and clients to make sure all is up today. Effectively, we use only one catagoue, and making a small metadata change by one user almost immediately synchronizes it with all other catalogues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For our needs, it was better than google drive, as the syncing of lightroom catalogues were seamless in dropbox, but always threw errors in Google
Been using dropbox for years and love it
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using it for many years and started with a free account and earned more storage and now I pay for storage and it is a great deal. So easy to use and have all of my data in one place. I also like to share folder with other people. Great for files and pictures. Large files are easy to transfer to other people. Plus if you delete a file you can get it restored. I like that I can use it on my phone, tablet and laptop. Works easily among cross platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
That is uses storage on my laptop even though it is also stored in the cloud. Every so often I have to selectively sync files so they are not on my laptop but I have them in the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to share my folders with other people and transfer large files easily.

Make sure you know how to sync your files. This will help you save storage space on your local computer.
