What do you like best about the product?
I like the accessibility of dropbox across multiple devices.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy file synchronization across devices
Strong third-party app integrations
Simple, clean interface
Reliable file recovery and version history
Good for collaboration and team projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited free storage (only 2GB on the Basic plan)
Premium plans can be pricey compared to competitors
Occasional syncing delays with large files
No built-in editing tools (relies on integrations)
Some features locked behind higher-tier plans
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of scattered, hard-to-access files by offering a centralized cloud storage platform. It makes it easy to access and sync files across devices, share large files securely, and collaborate in real time. This benefits me by keeping my work organized, accessible from anywhere, and protected through automatic backups and file recovery options.

Dropbox Review by Music Composer & Producer

  • May 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to package things already uploaded for transfer to clients. I appreciate the reliable web interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had many struggles trying to figure out the best method to back up my external drive with dropbox. I've used the explicit back up feature, but it always gets stuck on the last few files. I've chatted with support, but have yet to figure this out. I just do a manual back up instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox provides me an easy way to upload material and distribute it to clients. I can keep track of versions, generate new transfer links for different people, etc. It's cheaper & more fully featured than something like wetransfer for my needs, since I can also use it for cloud storage.

  • May 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Use of use for sharing also ability to do multiple kinds of documents. Searchable and has multiple functions easy to incorporate things like signatures and other sharing of documents and large files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates too many different features while great, also gets confusing and the stability of the interface is confusing at times. They change what you're doing so if you're not staying up on it all the time finding what you're looking for sometimes changes radically or a feature adapts and you have to spend a lot of time for using the Features as they expand
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing in the cloud to access across multiple devices and sharing things with other people

Overall Happy

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has become my go-to for saving all of my files; it allows me to then access my files from any of my devices (phones, iPads, laptop, and desktop) no matter where I am. This prevents me from being without access to a file just because I'm mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsides are the cost can be prohibitive for some, and the need for installing the programs onto your devices. I have an old desktop that I need to save all of my files from, but it crashes whenever I try to download the program (I don't believe that this is Drop box's fault) so I have not been able to back up the devices so that I can reformat the hard drive of the device to start fresh with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping me to have access to all of my documents in a secure server. This allows me to trust that my clients' information is not going to be compromised, but that I can access it from any of my devices quickly and easily.
