It's fast and convenient.
What do you like best about the product?
File sharing system with others. I also find drop is way faster than other storage companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would suggest providing more free space than the current 2GB.

Dropbox has truly revolutionized the way I manage and share my files. The seamless integration across devices and the user-friendly interface make it an absolute game-changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Dropbox has its merits, it's not without its drawbacks. One of the significant downsides is the limited free storage space provided. As our digital lives become increasingly data-intensive, the free tier's storage limit can feel quite restricting, pushing users towards paid plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The collaborative features have transformed the way my team works together. Real-time syncing ensures that everyone is on the same page, and the ability to share large files effortlessly has saved us countless hours.
Simple and stupid proof
What do you like best about the product?
It has selective sync so I don't clog all my devices and only have what I need where it is required.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its free data is to little ... want at least more of it.

I love that I can access my files from anywhere and from multile devices. It's very easy and convenient.

I don't have any downsides to using dropbox. It does everything I need it to do!

With Dropbox I can keep my files in one location where I can access them from anywhere and from multiple devices. It's great!
Great when you work with local files on multiple computers

Maybe redundant in case you have other subscriptions like OneDrive, Apple iCloud, etc.. but still, Dropbox has some unique functionalities.

What do you like best about the product?
I have 2 laptops and a smartphone. It has happened several times that one of them has failed and needed repairs. As I always put my vital data, both personal and work on my Dropbox, I always have it with me at all times. As a software developer it is important not to have any downtime and this Dropbox setup has saved me several times. It is fast and secure and never let me down. I can use it as a code-sepository, important documents-storage, photos and much more. The best part is that I can safely share specific areas with friends or co-workers. The installation-procedure on a new device when a laptop has failed me, has been as click-and-go.
What do you dislike about the product?
A good and reliable cloud-service comes with a price, but it is worth it. I just wish that there was a long-term customer bonus or discount program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of
- fearing that important documents and data might get lost if the device breaks down or is stolen.
- easily share files with specific people for important occasions. Both privately and professionally.
- signing documents electronically was a saviour during the Corona epidemic. It opened a new world for me

What do you like best about the product?
the safety of it all, what with the vault and different ways to make sure your files are less likely to be compromised. you get a lot of storage space for a good amount.
What do you dislike about the product?
I started using Dropbox 2-3 years ago after having used Google Photos for years prior. Features I wish Dropbox had are things like:
- when photos are uploaded on dropbox, having a feature that says "these photos have been added to your dropbox, would you like to delete them from your photo to create space?" saves me time from double and triple checking that all my photos are indeed on dropbox before deleting them from my phone.
- separation between photos and videos and other files, instead of just photos and files.
- the user interface is not great, feels like i'm using a beta version of the app instead of a well developed, years-old app.
- being able to recognize duplicates and suggest for their deletion.
- this might counter the safety aspect, but i miss the google facial recognition that allows you to hit on a person and open an album of all the photos you've got of them, this is uber helpful.
