Dropbox: Trustworthy, Easy File Sharing Across Work and Life
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox before it was cool! Throughout three different industries that I have worked in, Dropbox has always been there for me. Sending files, videos or family photos - it's the easiest way for everyone to join in. And it's trustworthy as heck, too!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there hasn't been too much that I don't like. Pricing is fair the speed, reliability and product that you get with Dropbox. It's been so good to me, that I have never had to reach out to customer support!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my current industry, I am able to send listing photos and videos back and forth to my marketing team with extreme ease and not worrying about different cloud platforms being down.
A Great Way to Store and Organize All My Artwork

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any. Some outside organizations don't use Dropbox for security reasons, so I have to share files another way.

Sharing artwork files with printers and for graphic designers to send large files to me.

I love having the ability to create and share document upload links, along with the many AI features it provides in addition to the integration features!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find least helpful is that, at times, the system adds a separate link underneath the ones I’ve already created.

It’s helping me overcome many obstacles, including improving my overall performance. I also feel like I’m getting the best long-term ROI, and it provides outstanding support throughout the onboarding process.

A Comprehensive Command Center for Creative Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can use Dropbox Transfer to send 100GB of raw video footage to a client without them needing a Dropbox account, and then track exactly when they downloaded it and If a folder is accidentally deleted, the Dropbox Rewind feature allows to restore entire account to a specific point in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 2GB free storage limit is a major point of frustration. In 2026, where file sizes for photos and videos are massive, 2GB fills up almost instantly. Most competitors offer 5GB to 15GB for free, making Dropbox's entry point feel stingy to new users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of storing, accessing, and sharing files across different devices and locations in a simple and secure way.
For me, this has made my workflow much more efficient. I can easily upload, organize, and retrieve files whether I’m working from my laptop or phone, which is especially helpful when switching between tasks or locations.
It also solves the challenge of file sharing and collaboration. I can quickly share documents with others through links, control access, and collaborate in real time without worrying about version confusion.

Secure Storage and Effortless Sharing, Needs UI Improvement

I like that Dropbox is worry-free; I can upload and have documents in an organized cloud-based program that I can access whenever I need. I appreciate how sharing documents from one user to another works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface. It's built its own identity which can be hard to navigate if it's not accessed regularly. Much like comparing how to run a Windows based computer to an Apple based computer.

Reliable Tool for File Sharing and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is how easy it is to store, organize, and share files across teams. In my work, I use it to share training materials, presentations, and important documents, and the file syncing works reliably across devices.
The interface is simple, and features like shared folders and link sharing make collaboration very smooth. It saves time compared to sending files back and forth over email and ensures everyone has access to the latest version.
I use Dropbox as part of my workflow to manage and share training materials with internal teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation I’ve noticed with Dropbox is that the pricing can feel a bit high compared to some alternatives, especially when additional storage is needed.
Also, while syncing is generally reliable, I’ve experienced occasional delays when working with larger files or frequent updates. It would be helpful if more advanced collaboration features were available directly within the platform instead of relying on external tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Dropbox, we relied on email and multiple tools to share files, which made it difficult to manage versions and keep everything organized. This was especially challenging when working on training materials and presentations with different team members.
With Dropbox, I’m able to store files in a central location, share them through links, and ensure everyone has access to the latest version. I use it as part of my workflow to manage and distribute training content, onboarding materials, and internal documents.
As a result, collaboration has become more streamlined, file management is more organized, and it has reduced the time spent on back-and-forth communication.
