What do you like best about the product?
The speed to implementation was critical for our early stage startup. We were able to leverage Sendbird to get our application up and running within a two week period from idea to launch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sendbird is still working through some scalability constraints with its chatbot functionality. We are limited to only 10 chatbots which is not ideal for our use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to build a chatbot on the ChatGPT stack. Sendbird provides us the required backend and UI in order to make that happen. This has allowed us to quickly get to market with our product.

What do you like best about the product?
Sendbird has been a pleasure to work with so far and has delivered exactly as promised. Their sales and success management teams have been a joy to collaborate with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is currently tracking to be quite high. We have a custom pricing model that involves filling up a gas tank and burning through usage. At the rate it is burning it will result in a high annual expense.

Sendbird is providing chat services for our computer game.

You can implement chat and live features somewhat easily and quickly.
Sendbird has delivered on what they promised.
What do you like best about the product?
We evaluated many possible solutions for our in-app chat project, including building our own. Ultimately we went with Sendbird because they have a mature feature set, competetive pricing, and a solid stability track record. Working with them on our build process has been a joy and since launching about a month ago everything is working as expected. Bottomline is that they have delivered on what they promised, and that's all I want from my 3rd party solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it's been overwhelmingly positive, but if I had to point to something, their mobile UIkit could be better. It's serviceable, but eventually we plan to use their API and build our own UIkit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using their SDK and APIs to facilitate our in-app chat communications across two Android, and two iOS apps, as well as a React-based web application. Eventually we'll make use of their moderation features as well.

Minimal intervention from dev teams for enabling chat
What do you like best about the product?
We have almost never seen a downtime at Sendbird in past 2 years. There has been minimal intervention from our tech team in running the chat functionality on our app smoothly.
The ability to broadcast messages to all the chat accounts is a very good feature. We have been able to broadcast latest news etc to our users.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if sendbird could have better analytics. We wanted to analyze the number of chats for a user, how quickly a user replies on any chat etc, but there is no easy way to do that. Even if we export all the chat data, it is extremely hard to build those analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sendbird is able to provide us with an easily integratable chat platform and it runs smoothly. We just had to use the android and iOS SDKs and some backend integration to get the whole chat setup up and running.

APIs are easy to use. Support is very helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. One feature could be to add users per channel instead of per application.

We have various services where we allow our subscribers to chat with each other and form a community. We use sendBird for this interation.

- a bit archaic user interface of Sendbird Desk,
- it seems their target are smaller companies, so the environment configuration options are somewhat limited,
