What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate, easy to understand pricing tier system, BAA compatible, and great customer support (tech support + competent account management)
What do you dislike about the product?
As long as you don't have BAA requirement, the pricing is great. If you require BAA, it will become expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration of HIPAA compliant chat within our mobile app. Rock solid stability.

Old infrastructure not working, quick solution to the tech problem which determined higer user engagement!

What do you like best about the product?
Sendbird provides all the tools to build a fully digital, modern chat experience. The product is very flexible and scalable. They support custom feature development which allowed us to build unique features and differentiate ourselves in the market. Fast go-to-market and a great team of engineers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. We had a great experience so far and looking forward to working together for many years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to digitize our customer service %100 and closed the phone line & emails. We built a continuous & asynchronous messaging experience for our customers in the app. Both non-customers and existing customers can chat with us as if they are chatting with their friends on WhatsApp.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Sendbird to anyone who wants to build a chat application in their app. All great in terms of features, time to market and support.

What do you like best about the product?
The SendBird team is amazing. They're always responsive and helpful whenever we need support.
What do you dislike about the product?
API documentation could improve, but their team fills in gaps when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Were able to build out a robust chat platform with minimal overhead. These features allowed us to differentiate ourselves from other competitors.

if you have some custom requests, the team is willing to find a good solution to enable your business implement their plan.

the ui kit could offer more functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
Sendbird's customer success has been very responsive in accommodating custom request that we have. Although they are a third party partner, it feels like they are a part of my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when there are issues, we have to reach out to the Sendbird team, instead of them reaching out to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Sendbird to power out chat system inside our app. Having Sendbird as our chat saves a lot of time as we don't have to build chat system from scratch. It also help increase user engagement in our app.

Locked in for 1-year as monthly cost continues to grow

What do you like best about the product?
The setup was fairly easy with integrating into our mobile app.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monthly costs were out of hand. Less than 2% of our registered users actually utilized the chat feature, yet we paid for each and every user as if they were active. They need to adjust their pricing to account for users who actually USE the product and not just every person logging into the app. Ultimately we had to close down our business and after our attorney contacted them to cancel our agreement, they double charged us for one month, issued a refund and then charged us again the following month after we had cancelled... which we are now disputing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We added private Group chat to our mobile app but the user adoption was less than 2%.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Now that they have raised a considerable amount of funding, I hope they streamline their business to better accommodate smaller startups unless that's not their target market, which I could understand.
