Once switching to MAP view it has been an enjoyable experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Map view work's the smoothest. It helps orgnize my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sync time is prolonged. It takes long to upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simplicity and ease of navigation. Manipulatable with data events.

Hard to get ahold of customer service when needing immediate help

All problems environmental engineering. Data collection and reporting.

Excellent data gathering tool. Customizable by allowing project-specific app development.

I like the customization I can do and its always updated.

The app can fill up with a lot of data that makes it run slow

There are not many business problems I have, but it does make mapping the route for the day much more manageable.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that i can complete a ticket on the phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The map. Its hard to zoom in and keep your place. Also, the street lettering is to small. When it comes to the phone sometimes it takes 20 mins to sync in a ticket

with the map you can see geographicaly where your work is at when zoomed way out.

Great software for tracking data

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for export the data and manipulate it into a report not only i can use but my customers can unse also
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it worked in conjunction with my software, and I didn't have to cross-reference the numbers to my customers. I wish it would automatically combine my customer information with the data information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No real problems to solve. Customer service is great explaining how to do the things we want to do. They even help "program" it. As for benefits, it gives my staff back up as to what was done on the job site without having to be on the job site.

Great app for site observations

What do you like best about the product?
I love that each "app" that you create in Fulcrum is extremely customizable, and you don't have to code anything in order to access the customizations. You can then create a company template, and then customize each report for a different client/project based on the specific needs of that client. There are a ton of great features packed into this app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there were more ways to adjust the template when it came to photos, particularly the photo captions. When adding text to a photo, you don't know how it will turn out or what it may cover until after the report generates, and if you could adjust where the text appeared over the photo, that would be a great improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to do site observations on construction sites and complete my report before I leave the site. This is extremely valuable as I can add text to each photo as I'm walking through the site so I know exactly where I've been and which room/area each photo is in and don't have to try and remember when I'm back at my desk several hours later.

What do you like best about the product?
The GUI of the app builder is nice. It allows for easy customization, as well as exposing the back end scripting API to perform some more advanced tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their pricing model is quite frustrating and ultimately might end up being why we will end up leaving for a different data collection app. First you pay for the number of users, then if you require more than the initial 20GB of data, you are forced to pre-purchase "data blocks" in 20GB chunks. If you do not have enough data blocks, the app rejects your devices from syncing. If you have way more data blocks than you need, you have to pay for them anyway. I get it; as a business, this is a great way to sucker people into paying for more than they need, but why not make it more automatic and customer friendly? After all, they are basically reselling Amazon S3 storage for a 5000% upcharge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to distribute data collection tasks to field surveyors. We benefit by being able to customize apps for different projects depending on what our clients need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to synchronize devices over Wifi, not mobile data.
