Brilliant data collection software
What do you like best about the product?
Fulcrum has a wealth of features and is very easy to use, even for people like me who can't write code. It is effortless to collect data in multiple different formats. The new reporting updates also make exporting the data as a PDF report easy and straightforward, saving a lot of processing time.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides to Fulcrum that I can think of. I love all the features and have not yet come accross anything I can't solve or get around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are collecting data and new and better ways thanks to Fulcrum and saving time.

can use offline and few people at a time

When the record enter it asks "do you want to discard?" it confuses the field team

Consistent and Accurate Field Notes Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Fulcrum allows multiple users to record quick and accurate field notes while maintaining consistent data collection between users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pictures are given random file names when downloaded making it difficult to sort through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Environmental conditions are georeferenced with GPS coordinates and collected consistently between users. At the end of a project, photos are easy to sort through and users have the ability to annotate photos. Fulcrum better allows us as a business to provide accurate and consistent field oversight.

Fulcrum allows multiple users to record quick and accurate field notes while maintaining consistent data collection between users reducing human error and automates redundant tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Teachability. Seemless use on tablets and phones in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
GPS is not that accurate and a little slow. Requires API knowledge to get the most out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduction in paper use. Far fewer data handling errors. Increased efficiency. Profitability of projects. Showing live updates to clients.

Erosion control on Cape York. It helps us to do monitoring, establish baselines, and track changes over time

Simple and easy data collection
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, the fact that I don't need to know much about coding to be able to design easy to use and intuitive apps for people to use when collecting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of times I have to click between editing an app and viewing its records. For example after I edit an app, I then have to save it, then close it, then go back into the app, and then click on view records instead of just saving the edit and then going back to see the records quickly. Could be solved with some sort of updated dashboard on the left of the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing areas on maps with common faults and noticing patterns geospatially. We couldn't map the data geospatially before and see these patterns or trends.
Best Field Inspection App
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of access and use, and the ability to still use the app without internet connection
What do you dislike about the product?
It is probaby due to slow internet connection and the amount of photos takeb, but I dislike the time it takes for the app to sync to the server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm an insurace adjuster and also conduct risk surveys, I'm using the app for claims inspections/reorting and risk surveys/reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend to anyone to test Fulcrum. Easy to set up, easy to use. If you know what you want to do, the objectives of your inspection and reporting, then tailormaking Fulcrum to suit your needs is very easy.
This is a data collection app that allows users to build their own apps to fit the need.
What do you like best about the product?
This app has eliminated double entry of the data collection that I do. We have to collect a lot data and it is very easy to transpose numbers when we have to transcribe the data back to another spreedsheet. This app helps to elimante the mistakes that invariably take place when you handle data multiple times.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a global editing process and cut and paste tables from the fulcrum web portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems solved were the copy mistakes that were happening with handwritten or double entry data collection. We have been more accurate in our data collection.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to read the instructions and try building small demo apps before building large complicated apps.
