Simple and exactly what I needed

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use. They've made it so I can sync with our customer success platform (which they are one of the only ones that have that integration already built).
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why they don't do a full sync every time, but I wish it would. But they did help me with an easy workaround to get what I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting our database to our customer success platform, and analytics software.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to use especially when it comes to setting up scheduled syncs between Metabase and Google Sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest gripe is that all my syncs from Metabase and Google Sheets stopped working and I wasn't able to find out that the issue was Hightouch's fault until I contacted them. I wish they were more proactive with their communication efforts especially around bugs, so I can plan accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily syncing from Metabase to Google Sheets which allows cross-collaboration with other functions that don't have same sophistication with SQL

Great tool with great potential

What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive interface. It allows you to connect to the relevant sources and destinations you might need your data to flow through almost effortlessly. It was easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a tool that is still in development. Some parts of the UI are not fully polished and are a bit more painful to go through. Also, some of the features in the interface don't seem to have relevance with the rest of the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch removes steps from the classic ETL process. In my case, it reduces my workload and the time I spent monitoring and maintaining other tools from our stack

What do you like best about the product?
I used Hightouch for a recent digital marketing project for a financial client. The best thing I like about Hightouch is its ease of use. The UI is very intuitive, making creating a source, a sync, and a destination pretty straightforward. We used an in-house customized process to upload our conversion data to marketing vendors. The process required manual intervention, and debugging was tedious. Hightouch provides testing of sample uploads while setting up the syncs, which helps you know any potential errors upfront. The error messages are very helpful in debugging and resolving the issues. The rich set of destinations and easy integration with various sources is a big plus if your activation needs are ever evolving. Ability to integrate it with GitHub and Airflow adds much more power for complex use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I pretty much like most things about Hightouch. Some minor things they can add are: 1) to have the ability to map the columns automatically based on names, 2) Add support for more sources like TradeDesk, Ironsource, Applovin etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have a custom solution for uploading our conversion and audience data to ad vendors which was slow, error-prone and worked only for a few standard vendors. Any change required to process or new uploads required specialized knowledge of the process owners. Hightouch made creating models and syncing data to the vendors much easier and quicker. Anyone with a little understanding of tool can create and troubleshoot uploads now. Errors are more intuitive and support is excellent.

There is a bit of a learning curve. Additionally, we've seen a flood of errors and alerts at times. It can get noisy quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch allows us to leverage our data further and drive more value for our clients. This leads to a positive financial impact for the enterprise.

Easy-to-use tool in a complex marketing world

What do you like best about the product?
The seemingly endless possibilities of where you can use this tool. Beyond marketing syncs, HT has allowed us to automate various parts of our operation. Virtually any sync you want is available with HT, and if it's not already there the team is willing to build a case and scope out what it'd look like to add to the tool. Even better, it has helped us to democratize our data by putting the powerful capabilities of rETL in the hands of non-technical analysts thanks to the ease of use of the platform. A great product for any firm looking to utilize rETL features.

What's great is that even though there are some challenges with the tool (it's still maturing), the team is one of the best when it comes to support. They've been willing to build custom connectors for us. A rockstar support team!
What do you dislike about the product?
- Debugging features: It's a hard problem to solve, but often these API's will fail for one reason or another. HT doesnt make it very clear what the errors mean and how to address. Take the SFTP connector for example, if creds expire you will get a generic "Run Error" with little instruction on what it might be. Thankfully, the support teams are fantastic and jump on questions we have.

- Premature releases and deploys: company has grown rapidly but at the root it is still a startup. It can at times feel like we are identifying issues before the team and instead of the code being rolled back, we are forced to change as the client. An excellent example of this was in the enforcement of primary keys. We had a few syncs that didnt require deduplication (think sending data events in chron order). HT pushed a change to require primary key's to act and function as primary keys (unique and not null). This caused a number of our syncs to break. We did not get a heads up on the deploy and we had to drop everything to address. The change made sense, but i'd encourage HT to monitor the effects of code deploys and provide more heads up to clients that may be affected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data activation - taking data from our warehouse and syncing it to various marketing platforms and tools. We primarily use HT as a means to facilitate conversion uploads where we tell marketing platforms what happened to customers and enrich it with metadata that allows us to better decision on marketing initatives.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplification of everything into SQL has been a game changer. It allows anyone in our org to take advantage of integrations and build their own without having to rely on an engineering team and code to build a direct integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hightouch is a product that is still being built out, which means that sometimes features are not yet available. While this can be a pain at times, it also means that the team is excited for feedback and new product requests allowing us to have a hand in building custom options into the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch is allowing us to share server side data with vendors, increasing our match rates and allowing us to send in offline conversions with ease. Using this information vendors like Google and Facebook are better able to connect with our consumers.
