Skedulo Scholastic
What do you like best about the product?
Modern UI and integration with Salesforce and service now!
What do you dislike about the product?
Yet another SaSS subscription. There is also significant overlap in functionality from other expensive services we already subscribe to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a distributed team of contractors and had no centralized tool for managing them. This product allows us to manage our workforce and improve their workflow by directly integrated to our salesforce CRM>

What do you like best about the product?
Everyone I have worked with at Skedulo has been extremely helpful. They all seem to have extensive knowledge of their product and really care about helping their customers roll it out successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative would be some of the time difference issues. Being EST sometimes it was difficult to find times that would work with PST or Australia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run the majority of our business processes through Salesforce. We have a backend home grown system that we are working to sunset and move everything into Salesforce. Scheduling for our implementation team was something we were doing outside of Salesforce and we did not want to have to custom build a solution. We were able to use Skedulo and where custom dev was needed they helped us to get there.

Although we have not fully implemented the product yet at our company, we are still in the development and testing phase, the product is very easy to use and was easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing has come up to dislike specifically, I assume we will eventually run into a use case that is not out of box and I am confident working with Skedulo we can solve it. Change is hard for people so that will be the biggest hurdle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating paper processes for our traveling workers, which will save costs and also time.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team is very attentive and willing to lend a hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
There appears to be a lack of examples of how the product has been deployed elsewhere as to help structure how our business can utilize Skedulo fully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
USP Technologies is using Skedulo to help optimize our field resources, drive rigor and accountability in our execution to our customer commitments, and archive field collected data so that it can be used to drive business decisions.

Appears to be an excellent resource management tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The group of staff at Skedulo are very knowledgeable and quick to help! We use Skedulo on a daily basis to dispatch technicians, and the very few problems we have, get resolved quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is definitely tailored towards same town, quick events. Our service events often take multiple days, and its a little messy to get it to do that. However, I must say, the recent update was a step in the right direction for us!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to quickly and accurately dispatch our service technicians with all needed information.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Skedulo to same day service / delivery businesses. There are some changes I would like to see made for our company, but I think we are a very small portion of the customer base, in a very niche market. Overall, Skedulo has delivered us the best bang for our buck over other ERP type systems. They are headed in the right direction to take over the market, and I feel they will get there sooner rather than later.
Their tech support / sales team are very good at understanding your wants and needs, and acting on them to give you the best results possible.

The way the field app syncs data back to Skedulo / Salesforce
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skedulo has helped us solve a number of issues and pain points.
Scheduling issues relating to optimising Technicians workloads and routes with the help of the Skedulo Web App (scheduling tool), this is what Skedulo does at its core and it does it really well.
The ability the customise the field app (Skedulo X) is also particularly useful and has allowed us to rationalise various applications and make the experience for our field staff more seamless and integrated.
Customer visibility / engagement - because Skedulo can come as a Salesforce package the Data is held in Salesforce which means we have the ability to easily expose this information to our customers, giving them the assurance that we are doing what we say we are doing. This area alone has certainly helped close out a few deals.

If you are looking for a workforce management tool that allows you to schedule out your field staff or assets, I would definitely recommend Skedulo. If you give your field staff all the jobs they will be doing on the first of the month and you leave them to there own devices (no scheduling) then this probably isn't the right tool.

Field Service Management and Workforce Management
Skedulo has been a valuable asset to unlocking more features of the data we store in Salesforce

Customer service has been very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional

The rigid nature of the web app. It's necessary to use in some circumstances as all features of Skedulo aren't available in Salesforce. I would prefer to exist in one environment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating the need for Google Calendar and manually syncing data between a scheduling interface and customer data in Salesforce. We've realized that timesheets may be able to be implemented using Skedulo data and have begun working on that project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test cases with your users are crucial. It's not the easiest aspect of implementing Skedulo, but since going live, we've found many changes we would have wanted to bring up during testing.
Very buggy, updates do not sync, users constantly have to delete & reinstall the app
What do you like best about the product?
The check-in process is easy and the user interface is appeasing to the eye.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the app doesn't update in the background, the check-ins don't sync to our Salesforce platform, and that job statuses constantly move back and forth. There are a lot of bugs with the Skedulo platform & app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We removed the need for Formstack & Google Sheets. The benefit has been having Skedulo built into our Salesforce platform.
