Vinyl took time to understand my needs and implemented a program that would meet my needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I was able to explain what our department needed, and Vinyl could almost always find the logic to create a personalized functional program for us. Even when my minimal computer knowledge made it hard to understand what I wanted, Vinyl team found a way to comprehend my requests. As my group began using the tracking system they developed for us, Vinyl team was always open and available to quickly update/revise the tracker as needed for practical use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish it would have been easier for a quick phone call from time to time to talk out what function I was hoping to implement (as sometimes a quick call for a quick revision or update is faster than having to write out a lengthy email).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My department had no universal tracking system for our shipments that was accessible to all in the department and quick/easy to use. Before Vinyl, we had multiple excel spreadsheets being used, and reporting would usually take hours. with the online tracker they developed for us, reporting takes minutes. All information is available to anyone wanting to review it (eliminating a lot of back-and-forth email communication and follow-up between all in our department).

What do you like best about the product?
Good for complex integrations that require logic during data transfer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too complex for simple integrations - ie. primarily to a central datalake. Very good for point to point integrations though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrations between disparate systems.
Great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The process of writing back and forth is easy. They have a very adept customer support team, and are fast and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get diluted on their old system, so it can be clunky running on a device. It's also rather confusing without their support. They also requrie a few number of product updates each year. Without their help on those it can start to get tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is connecting our CRM to our billing software, That would be Salesforce to Great Plaines
Invaluable ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
Jitterbit is very flexible and allowed us to successfully migrate millions of records in a proprietary format into Salesforce. We were able to use it to not just extract and load the data but also transform the data on the fly. Jitterbit's support team was responsive and worked with us when we encountered issues, which while uncommon had a tendency to be complex. We could not have succeeded with our project without Jitterbit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The chief downsides are that it is a complex tool to learn, and there are some idiosyncracies in the UI that we sometimes tripped over. Other than that, though, no major downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Jitterbit to migrate data from a proprietary system into Salesforce. Now we are using Jitterbit to extract data from Salesforce, manipulate it, and load it into external databases for use with other systems
The partnership and collaboration is always exceptional!
What do you like best about the product?
There is always someone to assist and guide us through any challenge so we never have to face it alone. Zudy always takes care of their customers.

Need to have a few more places on upload of documents that are intuitive.

Vinyl is creating a way for us to manage our business more effectively.

Not enough technical documentation is available on Vinyl Platform development topics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of creating business applications in a short time as per business requirements. Easy to manage changes as well as integrations with other non Vinyl Platforms.
Love how configurable the application is.

The ability to configure the application is great, allows us to make updates very quickly.

The reporting tool could be more robust.

Vinyl is providing us with a central repository to track our studies and this streamlines the process for us.
Simple straightforward UI with powerful data structure behind the scenes
What do you like best about the product?
From manually distributing paper to a report/dashboard our users were able to easily navigate Vinyl's front end reporting and workflow tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I have some SQL background and have taken Vinyl trainings, we rely on Vinyl's development team to help us create complex reports and workflows. I can navigate a bit myself but usually will need assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Changing business processes from manual/paper to digital form, creating new reports and analytics for the front and back office.
