We believe in Vinyl!
What do you like best about the product?
Vinyl is a uniquely powerful, highly capable platform. It is relatively simple to get acquainted with and gain mastery, and has a TON of potential. We believe it is definitely worth whatever trade-offs/downsides exist. It is still young (v3.0 as of this review), but we 100% believe this is the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vinyl isn't particularly flexible - there is certainly a framework, language, and mindset to learn if one desires to maximize it. The platform isn't unlimited, and I see why Zudy doesn't market it that way.
There are also a number of atypical expectations Vinyl has of the developer that, sometimes, makes basic tasks that are easy to execute (i.e. low effort & story points) outside of Vinyl significantly more difficult within Vinyl.
Lastly, "low-code/no-code" is a stretch. I believe Vinyl requires at least intermediate knowledge of programming, database architecture, application development, testing, reporting, etc. to be able to enjoy its most obvious and readily accessible advantages.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, we have been able to automate a few internal business processes, even entire workflows, through Vinyl.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should keep your knowledge and experiences, but throw out all your habits and come ready to be a student of Vinyl.
Amazing company and product, a Low code winner
What do you like best about the product?
Simply put - Their people and their platform, both of equal value and importance.
How adaptable and relatively easy to use their Low Code platform is. I tested more than 10 other products over a 2 month period, and was feeling quite hopeless until I stumbled across Zudy. The closest matches in our testing were outsystems and appsheet (for our particular needs), both of those options were far too costly for a start up. I was particularly fond of appsheet for its ease of use but, struggled to get a response from their sales team, and then learned of the $15k per year sql cost.
Vinyl was a perfect match for our needs and future growth needs. Beyond the product itself, the people and support are amazing. They are a shining example of how every new customer onboarding experience should be with a software platform. I have 20 years experience in ERP/CRM and backend systems and their process was by far the best I've ever experienced.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's been a fresh and pleasant surprise to find this company, no issues at all in the first 3 months. I received help daily from their support team. They even setup a dedicated slack support channel where I can tap into their support team for random questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building out a custom CRM and customer portal that taps into our backend data. Their tools allow for easy integration to a ton of backend data sources.
Vinyl is an excellent platform and is helping reshape our business
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to connect to all our data sources effectively integrating them on the Vinyl platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The increased flexibility (over our prior platform) came with a slightly steeper learning curve however the trade-off is well worth the effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are integrating business processes that were previously taking place in several best-of-breed platforms. In some cases, we elected to move the process/functionality entirely onto the Vinyl platform. In those instances where we elected to remain on the third-party platform, we've had great success integrating and automating such that our processes feel seamless from an end-user perspective.

Great Solution and Even better service
What do you like best about the product?
Jitterbit backs up its solution with a fantastic customer support team. We don't open cases often, but, when we do, they resolve them quickly and efficiently. As one example, there was a point when we were trying to connect Jitterbit to one of our core systems and the core system provider was offering no assistance. Jitterbit, by contrast, joined us on multiple calls and worked with us through a trial and error process that ultimately ended successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a little nit picky, but the user interface for the data loader solution feels a bit dated and the font size is small, so it can be a strain on older eyes. Another challenge is that we can only have one admin user working in the data loader at a time. This is not a huge issues for us and we have never opened a case to resolve it as we have mostly been able to workaround each other. There may even be a simple solution for this. Right now, it's just more of a nuisance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jitterbit to run upwards of 50 scheduled data jobs on a daily basis. These jobs query our core systems and then upsert that client and product data into Salesforce giving us a 360 view of our clients. Jitterbit also enables us to transform the data to enable reporting and enhance readability. We've also used Jitterbit to extract data from Salesforce and send it to partner companies.
Delivered a complex project in as simple a way as possible.
What do you like best about the product?
Team:
An excellent and responsive team is always willing to transfer knowledge and walk you through decisions and tools. The team makes sure you have access to resources that help you develop your project further than where they leave you.
Endpoints:
Connecting Salesforce to our Grants Management System (Fluxx) was a big win allowing us to leverage real-time enterprise data as the source of truth for provisioning in another system with a shared user base. This also enriches our position to use Okta (which is currently used as our SSO for SF) in a number of ways that we can now explore.
In addition to the improvement in administration overhead, we are now sharing grant information between the systems which allows for even more reporting possibilities that can answer existing (and potential) questions.

What do you dislike about the product?
The discrepancy between cloud and desktop clients does provide some challenge in trying to understand how to recreate parts of your project.
A script library of some sort (something like what Salesforce allows or encourages with components and js for them) would be excellent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Syncing enterprise data between two systems to reduce administrative time and overhead
- Improve reporting capabilities by sharing data between two systems but maintaining SF as the "Database of Record"
- Templated api setup

Take advantage of the jitterbit university courses.
Jitterbit helped us get the most out of Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Last year our company decided we needed to start integrating data we had in SQL, Access, and other databases into our Salesforce org. Our goal was to have nearly all of our data from invoicing to maintenance jobs all accessible in Salesforce for our users. We've managed to provide so much more to our users and limit the need for employees to switch between different programs and software immensely thanks to Jitterbit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little challenging at first to learn everything needed to perform what we wanted. We did require outside assistance for a couple of major projects, but once we learned the fundamentals creating simple transformations between databases is simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to store almost all of our digital data in one place for our employees to access (Salesforce).
Jitterbit - NetSuite <> Salesforce Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Working with their Implementation team - from the Project Manager, Senior Integration Architect, PSM, and post-implementation technical and standard support. It was a collaborative partnership.
The Harmony UI is intuitive and easy to use, plenty of functionality, and methods of error notification and management.
Their training courses, knowledge resources, and vast library of documentation/guides and articles are very helpful.
I highly recommend Jitterbit as an integration partner.

I highly recommend Jitterbit as an integration partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no downsides to speak of at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Operational inefficiency. The integration helped resolve that by creating an API between Netsuite and Salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Jitterbit as an integration partner because of their on-boarding team, customer support, and Harmony platform.
