Streamlining Data Manipulation and Handling
What do you like best about the product?
Jitterbit's interface is highly intuitive, making it accessible even for those without a technical background. Users find it easy to navigate and utilize effectively. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools for data integration, API management, and data transformation, which are essential for efficient data handling and manipulation. Whenever issues arise, Jitterbit's customer support is quick to respond and very helpful, and the training materials are thorough and easy to understand, providing excellent guidance. While the Design Studio is straightforward and easy to grasp, the Integration Studio requires a bit more time and effort to fully understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is user-friendly, the sheer number of features can be overwhelming at first. It took me some time to get fully comfortable with all the functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jitterbit has effectively resolved our challenges by integrating our ITSM tools with those of our customers. This seamless integration has streamlined workflows, improved data accuracy, and enhanced overall efficiency.
Jitterbit is a great, fairly simple middleware tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use. The newer cloud studio is pretty intuitive. The legacy Harmony Studio is also easy to use as a data loader or middleware tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that doesn't make sense is that as a Jitterbit customer, I can't use their free data loader tool. If I wasn't a customer I could. It would be nice to be able to use the free loaded on my PC and not need an agent for it. The agents are sitting on servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pulling data from Databases and loading them into Salesforce.
Stable and Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
It has consistently been reliable and user-friendly, with all the connectors for seamlessly integrating into various systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing specific to emphasize about dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamless integration and data transfers across multiple systems, with the ability to easily develop workflows, implement business logic, and manage field mappings and transformations when exchanging data between two systems.
Simple tasks are easy
What do you like best about the product?
The library of connectors is impressive. The pattern library is also helpful, though it should be more prominent in the documentation. I also appreciate the willingness of the leadership to solicit feedback and share their plans for the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hard part about Jitterbit is once your needs progress beyond fairly simple data pipelining tasks, the platform does not scale well. The lack of integration with source control and the inability to really get under the hood means that debugging errors can be a nightmare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly integration with Salesforce and database ETL
Easy to use, lacking some features
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to set things up and understand why things go wrong when they do.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have many jobs running and they occasionally fail. I think Jitterbit could do more to help manage long/complex jobs so that we know when jobs fail. For now we had to manually add notifications to every single task and I think there's a way it could be made easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jitterbit to manage our ETL processes between various databases, so we can ensure we have the most up-to-date data synchronized across the databases.
Jitterbit Vinyl is a very Intuitive and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use the Vinyl platform to create an application. It does a great job connecting to datasources, creating tables and connecting via APIs just to name a few. The UI/UX design is also very appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to debug errors because they aren't very discriptive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing us to contribute to our stakeholders needs by delivering meaningful applications quickly and efficiently.
Exceptional tool for delivering digital business solutions, quickly
What do you like best about the product?
The data-centric development approach to Vinyl development makes it easy for business experts with technical saavy to implement solutions easily. Vinyl makes every single part of the SDLC easy and fun. The consultants at Jitterbit set an unprecedented bar of professionalism and expertise. I've learned so much working alongside their consultants- not only about software solutions, but about how to deeply listen to stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
No code branching or source control makes selling it to IT Leadership challenging. From a developer perspective though, it is rarely an issue, given how easy Vinyl is to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering complex business solutions requiring connectivity to archaic data sources, with quality and speed.
Very hard to debug and learn.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to connect data sources and display data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot easily debug. Cannot easily modify queries to have what I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving a quick way to spin up needed apps.
Great Integration Partner
What do you like best about the product?
Jitterbit simplifies the creation of integrations between multiple data points. We were able to start integreating data points the first day of implementation and have multiple integrations that run multiple times a day without issue. While the majority of the integrations can be created without an issue, the occasional integration may be more challenging, in those situations, JItterbit's support team is amazing and extremely supportive and helpful in resolving issues. I have worked with Jitterbit on multiple levels, first as a user, then the administrator, and now as the executive sponsor and at each level Jitterbit has delivered.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints, I have found that Jitterbit is competively priced and provides excellent customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jitterbit allows me to integrate data points between very sophisticated (API integration) programs and antiquated (flat file integrations) with ease.
Solution is good but...
What do you like best about the product?
The solution worked fine for most of our needs, once I had a good grasp on it. Support WAS always helpful, even when I tested their knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they have evolved the solution to support EDI, Message Queueing, and API integrations, they have not evolved the day-to-day data integration side, making data transformation easier with different data types or continuing support for the desktop Design component on Mac computers.
Unfortunately, the people who cared about managing partnerships have left the company. The organization's spirit is not customer-first anymore, and this has led our company in a different direction. Their leadership seemed to think that losing a customer, especially a small one, was something the equity firm that now manages them would not lose sleep over. This is sad because we had a good four-year run with them and are on the verge of expanding and utilizing more of the solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The solution allowed us to integrate with several Healthcare platforms that had not evolved to the point of API-based integrations, which provided us with a competitive advantage.
