What do you like best about the product?
Working with UserTesting is a great way to gain quick user insights to apply to tests, or live marketing. We are able to hone in on recipes or elements needing optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lower account support; need to have resourcing to upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting the right messaging and content in front of customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of use and response time. It is fun to see the responses flow into the tool and to watch the users participate in the study. It is really helpful to watch participants react to your product. You can also collaborate with your colleagues as you review the responses in real time. It is such a helpful and easy tool to use in your research process. We have had great success in our company using the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of planning for me to set up a test and I have to work with others in my company to organize a test. Thankfully it is not that the tool is hard to use or that it takes a long time to set up the test on UserTesting, it is just the fact that I have to clean up all of my files and create the files to be used during the test as well as work with a writer to establish the questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is really easy to use the platform and I enjoy getting results back. Having video of the people responding is really helpful to understand how they are reacting in real time.It has been helpful to display our emails in front of customers to see people's feedback and get a better understanding of how they read through our communications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try! You'll gain a lot of insight quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up a test and how I can customize tasks and questions to get the most data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data summary isn't the best. You do have to dig into to every response to get the information you want which takes a long time but also does tend to bring issues to light.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use user testing for ways to improve our conversion rate and also test new or existing features on the site. It gives us great insight in how people are using features and what issues they're having.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its one of the best users testing tools out there. Their 5 second test is a great starter if you're not ready for a full commit.

What do you like best about the product?
Great for getting quick feedback from real people that can be screened to get focused responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Participants can sometimes rush through certain sections which can make it a challenge to validate multiple choice responses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting feedback on new features and ideas for our product development. Benefits include being able to narrow in on product decisions and reduced investment in unnecessary features.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy set up, i can do everything myself, i can write notes as i watch the videos, quick snips of the videos

sometimes you don't get quality people and have to delete and start a new one

really quick usability tests that dont merit a whole session, and UXR that could be biased with a moderator.

What do you like best about the product?
Our Product and Design teams can get near instant validations from our demographics. We can theorize something and confirm or reject it by EoD!
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is high, especially for small businesses. Ive been wanting to add the Live Interview feature, seeing as Im a fulltime remote employee, but the price isnt manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly we use UT for small-problem solving: icongraphy, flow, design. Recently we've dug into UT's wide and deem community resources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Usertesting is an amazing tool if you do not have dedicated researchers, if Product and or Design do the brunt of the in-house research.

Very helpful for quick testing

What do you like best about the product?
The enterprise account allowed me to choose people from my area (Canada) and filter for province. I liked that aspect and the fact it was so quick. I could get results very quickly. I also felt support were helpful in getting back to me when I had problems. For example, the tester didn't follow instructions or had some technical glitches. I liked that I could export the videos easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription could be improved, but it was great that there was any at all. The pricing for enterprise was pretty steep compared to the one-offs, and the filtering was only part of the enterprise, so that was unfortunate. Also, when I downgraded, I lost the access to the old videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing the products that I build for my clients. I fundamentally used it for user testing websites. It's so clear that there is a difficulty in me and my team being too close to the product. There were so many things that I found from UT that I wouldn't have thought of. Many of the issues I could fairly easily correct.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you get actual realtime feedback from real people. The time turnaround is also a plus. You're not waiting weeks on feedback. It's usually within hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
That sometimes it can be pricey. If you're not getting a special rate or find a coupon code somewhere, it can get expensive.

But would you rather pay a premium to get great feedback, or have users bounce from your site because it's awful?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to see how users navigate my site, and if the things I want on my site matter. Having the recordings is also beneficial as I can take those recordings to my higher ups and they can make data driven decisions on how the site should function and operate.

What do you like best about the product?
How fast the results are. They are back within 10 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UX is hard to navigate for users. Or, we will have one test out and realize their is a minor issue that would affect all tests. Maybe not releasing all of the tests at once?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building out new product features and seeing if users can onboard to financial products with our flows. Is it user friendly? Does the order make sense?
