A must-have for research and testing, but it leaves a lot to be desired
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting does work well for most basic testing purposes - since it has such a large pool of testers, you can get participants for most studies within a day, or in most cases, almost instantaneously within a few hours.
I like some features on UserTesting like the automatic transcription service, which has made my life a lot easier when doing analysis.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are lots of usability issues - which is ironic because UserTesting itself is used to test websites' and apps' usability!
The calendar function is really hard to use, dragging time blocks sometimes doesn't work and I have to start a completely different study.
The screener function leaves a lot to be desired as well - it does the job but users should be able to add more diverse question types and duplicate and move around questions a lot more easily.
Some participants are definitely lying about their personal background to get into studies and I don't think userTesting is doing enough to stop people from doing that. Also when participants can't join Zoom for technical difficulties, they can still get paid although they didn't participate. That doesn't seem fair to me.

What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting screen activities recording function is useful and through the obtained insights, it now becomes very easy to understand the requirements for the website services enhancement.
Also, the ability of direct targeting of specific requirements and easy test scheduling and very useful free trial to beginners.

I was happy with UserTesting on my first implementation, and everything is easy and accessible functions.

UserTesting allows easy and effective collection of multiple website data from the visitor, which enables easy and productive website management.
I'd say personally it a great platform for startups and new products.

The user-friendly interface and especially the look and feel overall are great.

I am unable to find anything that I dislike for now.

We were to launch an online app to get your clothes stitched at your doorsteps by just filling up some main questions. We wanted to know how it is going to perform in the local market and whether the UX is quick and easy or not.

You get to test things as a user by not having to get the full experience but only as a demo

I recommend using UserTesting to make your experience while using something easier
User testing is important as to know what you are creating is really usable to users or not.

I don't see any such downsides of user testing. It is a helpful method to be used regularly

We get to know the exact problems faced by users while using our app/website or any product. If user testing is not done then many time while using the product, user gets confused on what to do next

Wow ,this is really things for growing businesses. You can easily discover your mistakes directly form users.

There's no way to see reviews form competitors for similar or same products. On that way we can understand our mistakes or mistakes of competitors.

It helps understand user's perspectives of using the design.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is time-consuming, and reviews can sometimes come from emotional sight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps understand the user's perspective and any defaults in the design. Being at an earlier stage of the invention allows companies to tackle the situation before launching the product.

Should be able to start right away without any roadblocks

Figuring out how exactly things can be navigated within the platform and not knowing how to set standards on results

I want to minimize the clicks and time taken to complete a user journey. To know what exactly is taking a user stuck within a particular app or platform, we always need a user opinion on how exactly the presented platform behaves according to user inputs.

I most use their nifty tagging system alongside the transcript in highlighting the most valuable insights

Sometimes it is a hassle in creating, locating and downloading clips in an intuitive way. Searching for general insights across the whole platform can be a challenge (that is where a solid tagging system comes in).

Make sure you fully understand how the account is setup as well, if your ready to go you just want to start doing research :)
