We've been leveraging UserTesting.com for our user research needs since 2017, and the service has consistently met our expectations year after year.

There is nothing I dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perhaps the most critical aspect is the quality of insights we gain from each test. Every session we conduct through UserTesting.com reveals something crucial about our product's usability or user perception, often leading to significant design or feature adjustments.

Great Platform for Conducting Research
What do you like best about the product?
I've used UT throughout the years but most consistently in the last 3. It's a good platform for conducting moderated and unmoderated qual testing with people you recruit from their network as well as with your own customers. It has great features for analyzing sentiment, transcription, creating highlight reels and other details like: word clouds, rankings and time on task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have found that the quality of tester is not great, (in particular they don't speak English well). While it is easy to refund and replace the participant, it adds extra time to complete research. The scheduling tool for some reason doesn't seem to work well with my customers--instead, I get days/time from them and manually schedule them myself. Regardless of platform, you need to start with a good UX researcher who knows how to frame up a proper brief with the kinds of insights you want/questions you want to ask, how to recruit participants that match a certain customer profile, and who knows the fine art of interpreting results and summarizing next steps for the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to course correct some messaging or UX that isn't clear before we run AB tests... I think it has helped improve our success rate with new experiments. I also use it to usability test and interview customers in live conversations
The Most Comprehensive Qualitative Testing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
As a UX Researcher, UserTesting.com is the tool that has resolved many common research issues and barriers. As I onboard new users to my companies platform I am often asked if they will be able to find their specific demographic, what will happen if a respondent is not satisfactory, can they share videos with clients, how they recieve a transcript of their session and more. New users are often surprised by how many of their concerns have long been addressed by UserTesting.com's offerings.
I also believe UserTesting has te best recruitment options I am aware of. The rating system implemented incentivizes users to put effort into their responses. As a result the thoroughness of response is unmatched by other testing tools. Because of the large testing base, recruitment is completed in an extremely quick amount of time. I have seen recruitment done within an hour for the most general demographic groups.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although all of my thoughts on UserTesting.com are generally positive, in the past there have been a few aspects of the user interface that could use tweaking. One example was the ability to add users that will recieve invite's to moderated sessions after the study has already eben launched. This may have been updated already but there were time in the past when I would launch a study then need to add in clients or colleagues to recieve the automated calendar invites. I could not find a way then had to invite some people to some sesssions manually which became very confused. These instances are rare and in many cases are quickly resolved in platform updates!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UserTesting solves many of the major recruitment issues that exist in other tools. They are able to deliver high-quality users within a fast time frame. UserTesting also provides many tools to make organizing and inviting guests to moderated sessions easy so the focus can be on executing a strong moderated session. The featuer that allows some users to watch from a separate room is extremely helpful. Analysis tools like the time stamping included in unmoderated studies, the automatic timestamping of any notes done, the ability to export raw data, and the ability to have a transcript make a more efficient analysis process.
FAST, Quality Insights!
What do you like best about the product?
User Testing has been a great agile research tool used by our organization for several years. It is very easy to use, and data is received faster than any other platform I've come across. We utilize User Testing weekly in our organization, and are excited to also now have access to the quantitative survey tool in addition to the qualitative capability. One great thing about User Testing is that since it is so easy to use, we've been able to extend access to other functions in the business that are not specifically research-focused. Those individuals now have access to real-time consumer insights, which have proven to be invaluable in day-to-day decision-making. Also, User Testing customer support is top-notch--they are accessible, responsive, and great to work with!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are only a few downsides to User Testing - one being that the consumer network is not yet fully developed in certain countries/regions. It also lacks in-platform translation services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User Testing helps us gauge consumer interest in new products, identify problems to solve, and determine which product claims resonate and don't resonate with consumers. We also utilize User Testing to inform packaging/design, evaluate assets, and better understand consumer habits and desires.
Immediate usability feedback, unnecessarily tricky UI
What do you like best about the product?
I love the immediate feedback from users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where the UI is confusing or where I cannot do something simple, like cancel or reschedule a test because it has crossed a time threshold, or delete a test that malfunctioned. The process for signing onto moderated tests and understanding what I will be able to do whether I am sharing use of the screen or not is a little unclear. Prototypes can often not perform well, and I am not sure if this is due to glitches with figma or with the interface between user testing and figma. I think the format for making unmoderated tests is excellent. I do often however get confused when creating the test, leaving it, then going back in to edit it. It can feel strange to me to have the demographic section outside of the rest of the test building. I love the transcript and the AI interp of the transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us to find issues in our digital designs. It is also giving us survey feedback on a number of items.
User Testing Feedback
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting offers excellent power sessions that give you the opportunity to discuss any questions, concerns, etc. about your test with research professionals. I find these sessions to be extremely beneficial before making my tests and when analyzing the results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without the Power sessions to guide me, I find the template library can become overwhemling. It's often difficult to determine where to begin as tests can be created in many different ways. It would also be great if there was a tool that could summarize my test findings and overall sentiment without reviewing all the videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UserTesting allows us to receive feedback on consumer sentiment of our images and website experience and ultimately helps us determine what our customers prefer and any necessary changes that need to be made.
Useful research asset with growing toolbox of features
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of participants for moderated and unmoderated sessions is strong and reliable
What do you dislike about the product?
The current state of the survey tool isn't ideal, and some issues with exporting darta

Top notch customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Impeccable customer service from a company that listens to its customers, as reflected by noticeable updates to the product in a timely manner
What do you dislike about the product?
Some occasional lag time from support when a study may be impacted
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to recruit and test quickly and efficiently which is in line with how our PDO operates!
Great support, subpar product and built-in panel of testers
What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the more thorough options in the unmoderated testing space. If you pay as an add-on, they have a dedicated and accessible team for questions on structuring tests, upcoming roadmap updates, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very confusing pricing structure that feels like smoke and mirrors at times. Low level of trust in their panel - a lot of "testers" that come across as falsfiying screener responses for incentives. The product itself is pretty limited in terms of test flexibility. Doesn't go in-depth in any particular research capability area. UserZoom acquisition doesn't seem to have fully happened and/or provides any additional benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very quick access to testers for running primarily unmoderated usability tests
