Awesome tool to capture pain points on site

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is an awesome way to capture pain points on the site. It's also really quick and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot seem to find a way to add new audiences to an already launched test. Also, would love to be able to control for quotas. I.e. have 2 testers be 20-30 and 2 be 30-40 easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product display pages on the website and how to cater to customer preferences.

Very good and efficient testing

What do you like best about the product?
Usertesting is very helpful to us because it allows us to do small tests with very fast results. It's easy to get candidate even while screening with medical condition like we do
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we are not using the live testing version it I feel it would be sometimes easier to be able to have a logic that skips some questions depending on certain scenario. I also feel some users are not always honest with screening questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We usually test for overall user experience and user frustration/pain points. we also test on brand perception.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick turnaround time, extensive panel, cooperative participants, great chat support
What do you dislike about the product?
inherent limitations of using panelists, some difficulty in test setup (let me add a target segment to an active study!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do a lot of comparative/competitive testing for clients' websites, helping them get data they don't have access do via analytics platforms

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can send out unmoderated studies. This makes the turnaround on quick tests very beneficial to our designers
What do you dislike about the product?
The video analysis isn't the best UX in my opinion... I end up watching sessions on the UT platform and creating notes with timestamps, but I record all my detailed findings outside of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves the problem of not having enough time to moderate 6+ studies. Makes the turnaround of results WAY easier and faster

What do you like best about the product?
There are many great things about usertesting.com, but what really accelerates our development is the speed of getting quality feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about usertesting.com.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Comparisons, usability, concept explorations, feedback on ideas...and so on. Valuable addition to in-person testing that we do.

What do you like best about the product?
User testing provides a lightweight way of gathering data from a large number of participants spread across a wide demographic that I can customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's important to be very intentional about the demographic you filter to, as there are some users who are almost like professional user testers and will read every word on the screen, unlike real users in a real life scenario.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering insights, validating concepts, and testing variations.

Quick and convenient feedback

What do you like best about the product?
I like the efficiency of UserTesting to get quality feedback and the note-taking feature, which makes it really easy to time stamp and pull quotes and flag key insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. I think the only comment I have is I put effort into making sure the tests are intuitive so I put it descriptive text to make sure the participants know what to do. I preview the test on the app but I think they see something different because they use the browser extension? I'm not entirely sure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I use UserTesting for prototype and design testing, but I believe there's potential to use it in our organization to assist our other research methods.

Quick and easy way to get customer insights

What do you like best about the product?
I like that UserTesting allows you to quickly get in contact with users and get feedback on products or features right away
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI with UserTesting is not the most intuitive or easy. One particular nitpick I have is the text boxes when creating a user plan, they resize responsively, and you have to drag the box to enlarge it instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've learned a lot about customers' financial habits and mental models through UserTesting and have been able to apply those insights to create better products quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out and figure it is'a good solution for your team!

Unmoderated Testing

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform gives very fast insights and let's us reach out to remote audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set up takes a while, and because the tests are unmoderated, we need to design our prototypes in a way that seems more guided than we would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the representative audience aspect, making sure our product works for users outside of Bay Area. The benefits are that insights are very fast for quick turnaround timelines.
