Best Project Management platform, but needs better options/support for small teams
What do you like best about the product?
After trying out several project management solutions for our small nonprofit team, monday.com has proven the most intuitive and robust platform yet. Easy to share and collaborate on Boards, Pulses and Tasks with team members. Automations and integrations are incredibly useful and expanding by the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it's the best solution we've used thus far, monday.com has not been very accommodating with pricing and plan flexibility, especially for such a small nonprofit team with limited needs. It's on the high end for project management system price brackets, and there is little support for tailored licensing options for small teams who need certain functionality that comes with more advanced plans but which cost too much for only two users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating on projects and keeping our team up-to-date with the status of different projects has become much easier. Monday.com has given us the ability to create map, timeline and calendar views which are helpful for workplanning and project oversight. Most collaborative materials are easier to extrapolate from Boards as long as they are kept updated.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team loves organizing in Monday.com because it keeps a handle on our collaborative to-do lists in a highly intuitive way. The platform is super uncomplicated, so that everyone on our team from tech to admin to writers to marketing knows how to use it well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the mobile app could be streamlined a little bit - it can be a little laggy sometimes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My entire team is remote!! So this is basically solving basically EVERY problem we've ever had. It even helps with onboarding because newbies can play a little catch up by seeing the project threads connect rather than feeling lost in a weekly team meeting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd definitely utilize the free trial REALLY well before jumping into the paid version! I've used this application solo for a while before telling my team to implement it, which really helped everyone see the subjective value across the board, rather than all of us learning simultaneously.
Monday.com is like Spreadsheets 2.0 :D
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to have the view/set up look like a spreadsheet but have deadlines and assignments attached to each row. It's amazing how much more organized we can be using Monday! I also like the templates feature. Our team has set up countless templates to create checklists for several processes within our department. This ensures the little tasks within each process aren't overlooked!
Also, the Giphy feature when sending an update is always fun :)

What do you dislike about the product?
There's no CTRL+Z option if you accidentally delete something. i.e. If I have a date set or a number entered into a column and I accidentally delete it or change the wrong pulse, there's no way to just "undo" it quick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deadlines and assigning people! You get reminders and notifications when deadlines are approaching which is super helpful. You can also create checklists to show you where you're at in a project. Reporting has also become wayyyy easier. The main benefit for our team is our checklists and production overview board. We can see all our current projects, upcoming projects, and completed projects at once and track everything - from date ranges, project managers, and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is a great tool and I'd highly recommend it! If you're a nonprofit, check out their NGO discount - I just discovered that this year :)

The huge range of pre-made templates and high level of customisation options.

There isn't a single thing I dislike about Monday - they're on the ball and they know what their users need and how to implement it.

I've found it extremely useful to manage, schedule and organise all our projects across the company.

I wish there was a free option with limited access and tools for single users.

We've completely re-shuffled our work schedule and based it around the tools that Monday provides.

There isn't any other team management software that provides you with the range of tools that Monday does. It is extremely easy to use and integrate with the rest of your work colleagues. We've completely reshuffled our workflow around Monday and it's worked wonders so far.

What do you like best about the product?
monday.com makes it easy to have a complete overview of your tasks or project, ask for input from your colleagues, or collaborate and distribute tasks in a global team. I like the intuitive interface and their board layout that is very easy to use as well as the automation capabilities which save us time for repetitive tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While a wealth of features is great to have, it also makes it overwhelming when you're not sure what is the best or simplest way to accomplish something.
Multiple subitem levels would be great to have, as well as the ability to remove columns from certain groups in a board.

We are using monday.com for marketing project management. Our benefits include increased transparency across the organization and more efficient internal collaboration.
A flexible & innovative tool for an innovative small business
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com offers a lot of great functionality and continues to grow and evolve. They consistently announce new features, offer easy to schedule support calls and make their users feel listened to. That's a lot for platform to offer, especially as our team understand the software development side! Our business wouldn't function with many of the clunkier project management and CRM tools, which is why we love Monday.com. The platform is wholly customizable and allows us to function in an agile and responsive fashion - which is critical to our business day-to-day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some tools that are so close to working the way we need them to. In particular the calendar function - which with some better integration could serve to help us with forecasting. That said I know this is in the works, so we will be patient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We introduced Monday.com in an attempt to cut down on the number of disparate tools we were using. Instead of one CRM tool, one resourcing tool, one project management tool and one file sharing tool - Monday can do most of this in one place. The benefit is less places to update for our growing and often remote team, and the ability to foresee even more utility as new features are introduced.
Monday.com - Organization at Hand!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the job list feature. everything is there for all to see. I can update our job list 20 times a day if I need to and everyone has access.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the "Highlights from yesterday" email. I would prefer a "Here are your deadlines for today" email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had a really hard time keeping our job list organized and up to date in Excel. When we opened a new contact and jobs, I had to establish the info in Excel, set the info up in several different programs and then hand the new job list out. If we had several new jobs in a day, I had to do this more than one time. It was a bit cumbersome.
NOW, I don't have to do that. I just put the info in Monday.com and everyone can see it. Others can actually organize the info the way they prefer but we can all share and see it without all the other work.

Use a Trial if you're not sure. But over all, I think it's a good system.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has completely transformed the way my art appraisal business works. This platform allows all of us in the company to work simultaneously and keep track of all our tasks, limiting the amount of interruptions in our work to a minimum. We also use Monday.com to communicate with our clients, receive feedback, and see the progress of our projects in real-time.
