Project Management and Collaborative Engagement
What do you like best about the product?
Helps manage and visualize each project and compels teams to collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently. Monday.com's basic features are easy to learn and master, and there are lots of tools to help continue to improve engagement, efficiency, and user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's essential that everyone on a team/in an org have the same buy in to optimize Monday. Com's tools, and without that org-wide buy in, it's less effective than it could be. This isn't a problem of monday.com, but does take additional work for users to help build the cutlure and knowledge needed to optimize the engagement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping to streamline project management, improving colleague collaboration (across teams and departments)
The best project management tool I have used
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most beneficial aspects for my work is the broad array of features for recording progress on monday.com. I appreciate the ability to tag to colleagues, write extensive comments, create subsets, include screenshots and design tiles so we can see progress at a glance. I find that I'm always learning something new!
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the most disappointing aspect of monday.com is getting help from Customer Support. I had a scenario where, because monday.com wouldn't allow me to log in, I was unable to obtain support as the system insisted that I should log in to obtain support. As a result, I had to leave a public review to get the support I needed. Those very rare outages can create significant problems for project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple individuals from multiple departments working across multiple projects. monday.com helps us to manage these disparate components, ensuring that everyone knows the responsibilities they are expected to fulfil. The tool enables us to manage our workflow, communicate succinctly and meet deadlines.
Incredibly easy to use and manage
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is easy to use for those that are data driven and visual learners! It really hits on all aspects that employees and leaders could want to see. It gives a quick snapshot of where you are as well as the ability to dive in. I love that it tracks how often each user is going in. I am able to quickly add new members and adjust for that that are already users. Easily connects to our most other systems and talks to Excel! Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't integrate with our main systems so a lot of notes have to copy and pasted and that gets a bit redundant.

Tracking progress of Clients across multiple divisions
Powerful, But Unintuitive at Scale
What do you like best about the product?
Visual Clarity, color-coded statuses make it easy to see who's doing what at a glance.
Automation & integrations: Simple "If this than that" rules are very easy to work with.
Automation & integrations: Simple "If this than that" rules are very easy to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scaling: Once you hit dozens of boards or hundred's of items it starts to feel clunky and overwhelming
Steep learning curve: Power-user features are powerful—but can be hard to discover and master without a lot of trial and error.
Board clutter: Big projects can quickly turn into a maze of groups, boards, subitems, and dependencies that aren’t very intuitive to navigate.

Project Management Must-Have
What do you like best about the product?
I love that monday.com gives our team a space to stay organized, have as global or focused a view of our work/projects as needed, and stay on track amidst multiple tasks/deadlines. We use it every single day. With increased visibility into projects and tasks, it also helps keep our team accountable which results in more work getting done.
I also love how we can have more visibility across departments in our company so everyone knows every team is working on and how to stay organized in multi-departmental initiatives.
Also, customer support is always extremely helpful and kind!

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a LOT to monday.com, and I feel like we're not using it to it's full potential. There is a learning curve and once you learn it it's great, but because of that it is difficult to get buy-in from everyone on the team amidst everyone's already busy schedule. Maybe that's more of a team issue, but just making the entire user experience a little easier across the board would definitely increase our team's usage of monday.com and improve how effectively we use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us collaborate better as a team. In the past we've had the problem of unclear task assignments, unclear expectations on projects, lack of visibility for what is happening in campaign planning other than the general plan, multiple places for to-do's lists leading to individual confusion, etc.
Now, we have one centralized place that everyone in our team can see, which clearly assigned roles, to-do's, and expectations for any project. We know what is happening, when, and who is doing it. This has helped us not have as many questions or confusion surrounding project, campaigns, misc. to-do's, cross-department initiatives, and more!
