  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think it stands out for its user-friendly interface, customization options, and versatile functionality, making it suitable for various industries and workflows. Love its ability to integrate with other platforms, scale with teams, and provide strong mobile access adds to its appeal, ensuring streamlined project management and team productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will say the pricing for scaling teams, the learning curve for advanced features, and limited reporting tools compared to dedicated analytics platforms. The mobile app lacks full functionality, and large boards can sometimes slow performance. Additionally, task dependency features could be more dynamic for complex workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved key challenges like team miscommunication, task disorganization, and inefficient workflows. For me, it ensures better organization, clarity on responsibilities, and faster decision-making, leading to more efficient project execution.

Monday.com for Every Day of the Week

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has helped reduce the number of back-n-forth daily emails by allowing workspaces to become the main space to house important tasks, dates, and updates in one place. It allows for more visibility, accountability, and improves communication amongst the team than having to reach out individually to find the information. If you're putting the right data in, let the system work for you and utilize the graphs/widgets to take that data and showcase it visually to show your stakeholders, etc. - I would be lost without Monday.com - it's not just for Monday's - it's a 24/7/365 type of product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are so many more functions I can be utilizing in the program that I'm just not aware of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's always changing and improving, and I like that I don't have to talk to a Monday.com support staff to ask for new integrations or updates. It allows for progress > perfection.

Intuitive and Collaborative Platform for Managing Multi-Team Projects

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- The platform is very intuitive and user-friendly.

- Ideal for managing tasks involving multiple teams and timelines.

- Board customization is excellent and very easy to use.

- I find the “mention” and “involved” features extremely helpful — notifications keep everyone up to date.

- The filtering system and Kanban view enhance visibility and task tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations and automations sections are not as intuitive.

There is a lack of clear guidance or documentation, so you need to dig around to understand how to set them up properly.

Compared to how easy it is to create a board and start collaborating, automation and integration features feel overly complex.

I just feel regarding these points I'm not using the full power of the platform because I don't clearly understand how to unleash its potential....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think Monday WM solves a big challenge we had in coordinating tasks and timelines across multiple people and teams. In the Internal Communications department where I work, we’re around 50 people using the platform, and it has really helped us stay aligned. It centralizes all our projects, deadlines, and updates in one place, so everyone knows what needs to be done and when. Personally, it makes my work much more efficient...I can see who’s responsible for each task, track progress easily, and collaborate without endless email threads or confusion.

Good for mid-size

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has helped us streamline our practices on a large scale. The interface is intuitive and easy to use for first time users
What do you dislike about the product?
Pulse notes are non-transferable to other boards. Lack of massive updates, no intuitive setup. I could do without the button reactions - a distraction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized place with notifications for project management that is not an excel sheet.

Awesome Organizational Tool

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is very helpful for planning our workloads and tracking time per project for our organization. The live edit feature of the website is great for making sure our team is up-to-date on any updates throughout the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is less visually appealing/UX friendly than the website, so most of our team just uses the website instead. Also, sometimes a rogue automation will be running and it takes a little time to figure out why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project organization and communication between our team(s).

Streamline responsibilities and reduce friction to change in the staff

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive and allows multiple generations to work in the same place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expand the number of templates to work with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Columns with formulas sometimes present problems when working on a split screen on the same display. It would be essential to be able to work from a mobile phone on most templates.

Great PM tool, nice set of OOTB integrations that can get you hit the ground running in no time

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The design is straight forward, intuitive and easy to navigate through. Also the ability to create visuals and reports out of every dashboard is priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options in terms of design (more colors and background), and a second sub item - sub sub item, as when you manage customers and using a line within a group for a single customer, and sub items as the tasks to be completed for this customer - sometime there are large projects that require an additional level and the solution is to use a separate board which is more tedious to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aggregation of tasks from different boards under the same view, with the ability to edit them (no need to jump between different dashboards). Also the reporting capabilities are quite good and visually pleasant.

A User-Friendly Solution for Small Businesses and NPOs

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is an user-friendly project management platform that delivers significant value to small businesses and nonprofit organizations. After extensive use, I'm impressed by how it balances functionality with remarkable ease of use.

New users can dive in with minimal training, thanks to the color-coded boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable templates. This accessibility means teams can get up and running quickly without extensive onboarding or technical expertise—a crucial advantage for small organizations with limited resources.

What truly sets Monday.com apart is its thriving community. The platform benefits from an active user base that regularly contributes templates, workflows, and integration ideas. The Monday.com community forums provide valuable peer support, while the extensive knowledge base offers solutions to common challenges. This community-driven approach means small businesses and nonprofits can learn from others in similar situations and adapt proven solutions to their specific needs.

From a value perspective, Monday.com delivers exceptional return on investment for small organizations. The scalable pricing model allows teams to start small and expand as needed. The automation features are particularly valuable, enabling small teams to accomplish more with limited staff by eliminating repetitive tasks.

For nonprofits specifically, Monday.com offers specialized discount programs and templates designed for donor management, volunteer coordination, and grant tracking—making it not just affordable but tailored to their unique operational needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) The notification system is often overwhelming. As I enter a project AND manage my own, I receive email notifications of EVERY post on EVERYTHING. I'm flooded with alerts, making it difficult to distinguish important updates from routine changes. I've created Outlook filters to minimize this to some extent.

2) While Monday.com offers numerous integrations, management indicates that SalesForce is not one of them and wants all employees to be in a seamless environment. (Maybe there is a module for communication, but the cost is prohibitive.)

3) The reporting and analytics capabilities, while improving, still lack some of the depth and flexibility that data-driven organizations might need for comprehensive analysis. This is commonly overheard from management. I would like to learn more about personal performance reporting metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With remote staff, team communication is key. The visuality of our "boards" is clear & easily manageable.

Streamlined processes in an old, clunky system

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Utilizing Monday benefited our accounting team in ways that I didn't think were possible. From being able to format a board for importing timesheets into our system to tracking the progress of client invoices, this system has saved us time and allowed us to be more efficient in our workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team relies on Monday to process a large amount of data - there are times when the system has difficulties accommodating the data immediately so there is some lag when dealing with data heavy boards. The animation of the hand waving into nowhere makes it amusing while you wait for your data to synch though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My department needed a better way to track invoices to be paid that didn't involve a shared excel file that had to be saved and opened separately for it to be usable. The boards allow us to track new, in progress, and paid invoices while also allowing us to post comments and questions on any special cases.
We've also been able to utilize a board for time entry with all the relevant information I need to be able to import into our old system. This has saved us thousands of dollars on seats in our accounting software.
We track our status of client invoice requests, creation, review, completion, and distribution with the help of boards and status' - with multiple clients on different deadlines and all with different needs, this has centralized our communication as a department.
