Powering Smarter Training Projects with Monday.com
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has been a game-changer for our Training and Development team at Proliant. It keeps our projects organized, timelines clear, and responsibilities aligned—all in one place. The platform makes it easy to track progress, collaborate efficiently, and stay focused on delivering high-quality training for our clients. It’s streamlined our workflow and helped us enhance learning experiences faster and more effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
One would be is that it can become overwhelming or cluttered as boards grow more complex—especially if multiple teams are building out different workflows without consistent structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management is solving our need for clear project visibility, streamlined collaboration, and organized task tracking. It helps our Training and Development team stay aligned on goals, meet deadlines, and focus on creating impactful learning experiences for our clients. By keeping everything in one place, it reduces miscommunication and improves overall efficiency
Great program with a terrible name.
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of customization to fit what you need to track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The name monday is awful for a program. Telling your colleague that you have something to look at on monday is extremely confusing and you always have to clarify that you're talking about the program and not the day of the week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In technical support it helps us keep track of cases we get from our customers to help with troubleshooting issues. It also allows us to track what products we are getting for to help us better help customers.
Excellent solution to solving our organizational issues
What do you like best about the product?
One of the key factors in our choice of monday Work Management was the ability to create/edit our own system without requiring the intervention of an IT department and incurring additional fees. As a startup, our processes were still in development, and being able to adjust and revise the system to reflect updates to the process has been immensely helpful. As we've grown, we've been able to refine and improve our workflows, and monday Work Management has allowed our online project management tools to be refined and improved in tandem with zero delays.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to monday Work Management that I have found is in regards to producing report for our C-suite execs. They are more used to a traditional "report", and while the widgets available for data collection reflect the information contained in our workflows, there are times when they would like to be able to retrospectively evaluate the status on a specific date, compared to current information, and I have yet to determine how that can be accomplished.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous method of project/task management was clunky and slowed us down. It took twice as long to issue updates, team members struggled with keeping things updated with then had a trickle-down impact on others working alongside them on the same project, etc. Since implementing monday Work Management, we have tripled our business and have been able to continue growing and refining in the right direction in a fairly seamless method.

What do you dislike about the product?
monday is rapidly growing and adding new features, so I occasionally encounter bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

monday.com Made Me a Better Manager
What do you like best about the product?
As a researcher and analyst by training, I was promoted into leadership like many people are—because I was good at my job, not because I had formal management training. Learning to lead effectively has been a journey, and monday.com has been one of the most transformative tools in that process.
One of the biggest challenges of leadership is juggling a million moving parts at once. What monday.com gives me is structure, clarity, and—most importantly—mental space. The automations are a game-changer. Being able to define standard processes and then build automations that reliably execute them means I don’t have to personally track every small detail. Things just move. It’s magical.
I’ve been in my field for 15 years, and this is the first place I’ve worked where we don’t have an endless string of status update meetings that drain everyone's time and energy. With monday.com boards, embedded docs, and real-time updates, there’s no need. I can just change the status of a task, write a clear update, and it’s there for everyone who needs it—no two-hour snoozefest required.
In short, monday.com has helped me become a better manager. It’s made my team more efficient, my work more strategic, and my day-to-day far less chaotic.

What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest criticism is the lack of robust automation logic. Currently, automations are limited to single conditions, which can be restricting when you need something more dynamic. Even just being able to use AND/OR logic in automation triggers would open up a lot of possibilities and reduce the number of workarounds or duplicated workflows I have to build.
I also frequently use FORMULA columns to automatically update based on new data added to a board. Unfortunately, monday.com doesn’t allow automations to be triggered based on the results of those formulas. This is a real missed opportunity—because being able to act on calculated logic (e.g., notify a team member or create a new task in a connect board) would make the platform significantly more powerful for people who build systems-driven workflows like I do.
These limitations don’t stop me from using monday.com or recommending it—it’s still an incredible tool—but I hope future updates make these features more flexible for advanced users.

I work in a very technical, process-heavy field where the stakes are high. If the right steps aren’t followed exactly, it can cost a ton of money, people can lose their jobs, and worst of all—patients’ health, safety, and privacy can be at risk. So I need tools that don’t just organize tasks, but actually help run complex workflows accurately and consistently.
monday.com helps in two huge ways:
1. It makes it easy to document our processes clearly and share them with the people who need them, and
2. It lets me use automations to take care of parts of those processes—reducing human error and giving people back some much-needed brain space.
When dealing with complicated processes, every little thing you don’t have to manually track or remind someone about is a win. monday.com helps with that, and it’s made a real difference in how I manage both people and projects.

It's a great space to feel good about what i've got done and see how much i've got to do. We also use it to manage content calendars. We have many business accounts to run and this is where we keep track of content that goes out. It's a great platform to easily be collaborative.

Simple, Robust Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It's a simple, approachable platform for managing projects where you can collaborate and share updates with teammates and keep all links and notes in one place. Automations are incredibly powerful and useful, especially how they easily integrate with other tools like Gmail and Slack! I literally use it everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
My use of Monday is pretty simple, so it's not really an issue for me—but I could see how the robustness of Monday could be daunting. Sometimes I have trouble finding teammates projects, or previous/archived projects. It's honestly been easy to implement into my daily workflow and I have no major complaints or technical/support issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With so many tools and platforms and communication avenues, Monday helps keep everything organized—it's basically the one-stop shop for projects.
