What do you like best about the product?
The level of customisation and modern UX.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's only one layer of sub-items - an extra layer would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Holistic visibility of what my team's workload is, my own projects, and our calendars - the one stop shop.

The product is excellent but it's a bit costly.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has a lot of automation. For example, you can configure to clean up after itself with ease. For example, if you have a status column and if the status is set to done, Monday can move it to another group or board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It would be great if we can have a dedicated call center for general questions. Yes, you have a great self help tool but and you can reach out to support, sometimes you're in the middle of a board and don't have time for the back and fourth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having insight into what's being worked on by staff. I have pulses that have time trackers. It's nice to look at a team members group and see the pulse that they're actively working on without having to check with them. I would be great if the time tracking feature was better when it came to reporting. I would like to run a report at the end of the day and see where my staff spent time without having to go into each pulse and add their time, across pulses and boards.

Excellent For Workflow Management

What do you like best about the product?
I stumbled upon Monday while looking for a CRM. Our needs were small with fewer than ten total users aniticipated. Monday had our core customer workflow management functionality, and we decided that was really the only reason we wanted a CRM in the first place. We wanted to manage the flow of work by customer and assignments. (We're a content company producing content for clients.) What we really needed was a sort of dupication of workflow technology in place on some freelancer sites. We needed to make sure we could manage assignments and work in a similar way regardless of the platform where the work originated. Monday took care of the core functionality and by inviting the clients to their relevant workrooms, it took care of all the communication we actually needed. This software, I think, is great for people who use freelance sites but need somewhere to manage client work when they get clients from other places.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would integreate more effectively with email software. It would be nice to forward mesage strings on Monday directly to email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company is a content consultation and creation business. The majority of our clients come to us from freelance platforms online. We had no platform to manage work with clients if they didn't come from the freelance sites. We originally looked for a CRM but chose Monday because it fit our needs very nicely. We have an admittedly limited scope of operations so I can't speak to much of the functionality of the softward but I can tell you that it allows bery effective management of writing assignments, content description and labeling assignments, and similar content, publishing, and related tasks and projects. It effectively duplicates what we use, for example, at Elance.

The Best Work Management Software

What do you like best about the product?
We use Monday.com for almost everything we do on a daily basis! It's so user friendly and easy to use. It's full of great features, integrations and automations that help track everything you do, making sure nothing's missed. We highly recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike with Monday. The only improvement I can think of is being to make automations with mirrored columns, which would make certain boards more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps ensure that the whole team is on the same page, has access to all of the information that they require to do their tasks and enables seamless communication / collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I honestly love MONDAY! As an employee for small non profit, monday is exactly what we need for project management. I love how it is just easy to organize schedules, deadlines, projects, etc. The software if very intuitive and really I love everything about it. We utilize forms often and they always work well. For smaller teams monday is exactly what you need to stay organized
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cannot think of anything. I think it communicates really well. It is easy to use. Maybe more modules similar to the forms feature can be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday makes it so my colleagues and I can communicate effectively on our projects. we can ensure we meet deadlines, track information for our program participants, etc. It is a way to document everything we do intuitively

Monday.com is great in helping to track projetds/tasks and quickly identify task status

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track projects and all associated tasks for our department to identify bottlenecks in the work. The ability to track tasks and identify those that are being completed on-time/on-track or are overdue at a quick glance is awesome; either looking at details around specific projects or through use of a dashboard view.
Customer support has been amazing when we've had questions or wanted to implement a new way of tracking things.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't yet been anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool helps to easily identify tasks/projects that are either overdue, which is the real problem, and identify times of the year where we are taking on too many projects. Then we can do a deep review of things to reevaluate our work processes/flows.

PM perspective

What do you like best about the product?
action item / my work tracking and management
What do you dislike about the product?
Specific views on schedules (and how schedule item links work) and on resource management (dots vs actual data).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration with Slack and gmail is nice. We mainly use Monday to track action items and having e-mail notification is helpful as is slack notification.

We also use it for resource management but we find it a bit clunky for this. We can see views that show a dot (representing how many hours are available for a specific resource) and have a number and darker smaller dot inside the dot which represents the planned useage amount of that specific resource. Sadly to get the actual number of available hours, you have to hover over the cell. Would be really nice to see a view with a column showing available hours and another cell showing planned useage hours, and maybe even a third column showing the difference, flagged some way is negative.

We also use Monday to gather required information for procurement activities and track procurement activities. This works very well!

We do use several work flows and forms which are very handy as well.

Fully Customizable Project Management Experience

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a PMP, I appreciate monday Work Management for its highly customizable and intuitive platform that seamlessly aligns with project management best practices. Its ability to create tailored workflows, coupled with robust features like Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and real-time dashboards, allows for effective planning, tracking, and collaboration across teams. The automation capabilities streamline repetitive tasks, saving time and reducing errors, while the collaborative tools foster transparency and stakeholder engagement, critical for successful project outcomes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform's extensive customization options, while powerful, can sometimes lead to a steep learning curve for new users or teams unfamiliar with project management software, potentially causing delays in adoption. Additionally, the reliance on integrations for certain functionalities, such as advanced reporting or specific third-party tools, may introduce complexity or additional costs, which can be a drawback when striving for streamlined project execution within a single ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management tackles key project management challenges like disorganized workflows, inefficient communication, manual process inefficiencies, progress tracking difficulties, and inflexibility to diverse project needs by offering a centralized, customizable platform with robust collaboration tools, automation, real-time dashboards, and adaptable workflows. As a PMP, these solutions benefit me by streamlining task management and resource allocation, enhancing team transparency and stakeholder engagement, reducing administrative overhead through automation, enabling proactive decision-making with data-driven insights, and allowing seamless adaptation to various project methodologies.

Game Changer

  • May 05, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has been a game changer for me. I have so many different tasks to keep up with in my position, some that occur frequently and others that are just once a year. Having the ability to put all of these tasks, and notes, in a single place is incredibly valuable. I love being able to see what I have pending each day, each week and then later. It keeps me on target and ensures I'm not overlooking anything time sensitive. I also appreciate being able to connect other people to tasks so that we can all have the same information at our fingertips.

Getting set up was very easy. The training videos are very helpful to understand how to work in the platform. If there's anything I needed assistance with Customer Service has been very helpful in navigating my issue.

I have tried other project management software tools and nothing works as well for me as Monday.com. I know things would be falling through the cracks without this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced any downsides yet. I think it's a great tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are so many individual pieces of each project to navigate and it can be challenging to stay on target for each piece without a good program. Monday. com has been that solution for me.
