Monday is an excellent product management tool

  • December 02, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The automation and notifications, these things keep us on track here at SPS so nothing gets missed or overlooked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continued enhancement around linking board activities. Additional link would decrease the amount of time needed to double enter activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us track projects better and keeps us dialed in on tasks that need to be completed.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform boasts a modern and visually appealing dashboard that is intuitive and easy to navigate. This makes onboarding new team members a breeze. Also, Monday excels in fostering collaboration. Features like file sharing, comments, and real-time updates keep everyone on the same page, regardless of their location.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the basic features are easy to use, some advanced functionalities may require a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Despite some concerns regarding pricing and the complexity of advanced features, the platform's strengths significantly outweigh its drawbacks

Monday.com is a great project management tool for our Marketing Team

  • December 02, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday helps us manage our campaigns and projects effectively in our Marketing Team. It is a very easy tool to use. I like the automation features, they help us scale our projects and never miss any deadlines. We use the tool daily as part of our Marketing Operations. Implementing the tool was very easy and didn't require steep knowledge. The tool integrates with other applications such as SharePoint, HubSpot, etc. This helps us see the actual work that's done by any of our team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides is not being able to manage notifications from updates. I feel notifications are not necessary if one is actively working on Monday already. Unless a team member is not on the application, then they can receive notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Monday, our campaigns weren't streamlined. It helps us deliver on our campaign plans at scale without missing any deadlines, giving us enough time to focus on strategic deliverables and optimsing output based on insights.

Used monday in former employment, now use it for own business.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful aspect of monday Work Management is the to-do list feature with ability to set deadlines and assign tasks. These features are intuitive and easy to use and ajust, and I use them every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
When moving items up a board, the drag and drop feels a little clunky when the board is quite long and extensive. I also feel that there are many features I don't use and have stayed limited in my utilisation of monday, because monday doesn't prompt me to investigate what is possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday allows me to keep active ongoing to-do lists for tasks and project management, as well as keep lists of suppliers, contractors, items etc. for reference

What do you like best about the product?
Managing incoming tickets, Creating Automations that informs the logger on the progress of their ticket.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes my automations just stop working. Then I have to recreate them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not sure, as I don't really have any major issue with Monday.com.

Transformed our approach to Marketing management

  • December 02, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We adopted Monday.com to manage an increasing workload across our team - and to ensure that if a team member was unexpectedly away from the business, we could pick up projects where they left off.

The Dashboards let me visualise data in a meaningful way across a range of activities - metricising our Marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that Monday.com can do EVERYTHING so occasionally I bump up against the edges of its capabilities - but not very often!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the event of a colleague being out of action, we can quickly pick up a project and run with it. We can manage inbound requests form our internal customers quickly, and have automated the response to them when the task is complete, as well as tracking our response times and reason codes.

It tracks across different platforms making it very easy to move from one to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get overwhelming if you are not familiar with the platform, I believe there should be more training about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking of clients making it easy to manage the workflow and projects discussed with clients.

Excellent Project Management

  • December 02, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work on large project with a big team and to see where that project is on the timeline and who is working on which bit, is superb. Time-tracking is VERY useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smaller tasks on large projects can become tricky to track down and see where that part fits into the overall timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workload allocation and tracking

Monday is as flexible as it is simple, which allows the user a zillion choices in how to use it.

What do you like best about the product?
I haven't found a work challenge that can't be solved by Monday. Let's start with how simple it makes project mangement and accountability. Beyond those things, it is my operational test kitchen. Whenever I am considering new automations or new workflows (and particularly reviewing new software), I try it out on Monday first. I can usually replicate the process in Monday to see if it's worth the investment and often, I find Monday does that job well enough to avoid any additional spend.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I dislike, but I would suggest they find a way to gamify engagement. I only say that because adoption is always the only killer for team use. Monday is absolutely as useful as your teams actually use it. That said, if leaders create accountabilities around adoption, this issue goes away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This streamlines our multi-team communication, reduces email black holes, and serves as my test kitchen for interal operational processes.
