Monday perfect tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best aspects of Monday for me has been the way it facilitates collaboration. My team is distributed across different locations, and the ability to comment directly on tasks and tag colleagues has made communication seamless. I appreciate that I can quickly ask questions or provide feedback without having to jump into a separate chat tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve noticed that the reporting features are somewhat basic compared to other project management tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it’s particularly beneficial because it streamlines how I approach tasks, prioritizing work based on urgency or importance and eliminating the need for constant status check-ins.
Organizational Bliss
What do you like best about the product?
I can see my projects and deadlines all in one place, which is kept up to date. Has cut down the number of emails I receive and no more hand written post it notes with many 'to do' lists needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I have to write something, all the email notifications when someone makes a change but I believe this can be turned off, I have not looked in to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To work more efficiency, for example I can plan better, can communicate with colleagues, all the information needed is all in one place.
Great workspace
What do you like best about the product?
The workflow is super easy and the integration with other apps is amazing

Sometimes notifications don't arrive when they're supposed to

As a team, we can work togheter and pass task between the members easily
Excellent tool for my company management and operwtions
What do you like best about the product?
Its so easy to.use and the simplicity makes it dummy proof. I run à 3M$ / year manufacturing company with a douzen employees and Monday.com does everything i need and much much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont see any down side or anything i dislike about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effectiveness of our whole workflow. We are more profitable and communication with the whole company is instant.
Project Management for the Visual Learner
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who's adapted to spreadsheets by force, Monday is the better alternative for those with visual learning styles and who prefer more flexibility than the constraints of typical workbook or spreadsheet-style platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app has some glitches and bugs from time to time, but they are tolerable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into project planning and management for the entire team.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and ability to outline all of the tasks that I have for the multiple projects my team works on is the reason why we complete projects. We have multiple projects going on that involve almost all of our team, and Monday allows us to stay on track and plan for XD success.

There are genuinely no downsides. We use this tool everyday!

It helps me easily communicate cross-departmentally with all of my team members while tracking progress for all projects that I manage.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you have a workspace setup in Monday.com, building out and customizing your boards is very intuitive and easy to learn. I highly recommend the software for teams that LOVE automation and spreadsheets. I looked at 7 competing software options before landing on Monday.com. The spreadsheet format was important for our team to retain (so we could pull ourselves out of working on many individual Google Sheets) . We also appreciated that the boards could be easily filtered and customized to best serve the current viewer or use-case.
As I built out the templates and the platform for my company, I also really appreciated the extensive library of pages they've created to explain their features. When I did run into something I couldn't solve myself, they have a readily accessible team to quickly lend customer support.

What do you dislike about the product?
Once you are comfortable on the platform, the automations built on the backend of each board are pretty simple to set up. But LINKING boards to one another through automation proved to be tricky for us. They break occasionally, can't be adjusted without certain board permissions, or glitches occur that my team had trouble solving. Managing these and checking for accuracy became a large lift for me to assist across the company so I would recommend using large, consolidated boards as much as possible to avoid depending on a network of boards.
We also chose Monday because of the Workload manager view - which ended up not working for our team. The concept sounds great, but ultimately asking our team to consistently fill in time estimates + durations for their tasks was too heavy of a lift, with the converse broad estimates not being accurate enough to prove being worthwhile.
Some obvious features were missing. For example - a central admin page there team members could add their PTO/vacation days and have them removed from their workload view. The My Work view is also a good concept, but needs more customizations to be truly effective for all types of roles.
