What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, ability to house so much information in one place, very flexible
What do you dislike about the product?
Some simple functions are hard to program like getting a total at the end of a board in order to record cost - it is possible, but not as intuitive as the rest of the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The teams are connected and we can see the big picture of events, webinars, ads, etc. It allows us to work a bit more collaboratively and it is very easy to look up and find things

Monday WM has extensive features, bit of a learning curve

What do you like best about the product?
Personally, I love everything about Monday.com—the automations, flexibility of the structure, sorting options, integrations, and now the AI capabilities. There’s no way I could manage the volume of projects in our internal marketing department without it. It’s become the hub of our department, keeping us organized and making it easy to adjust when plans change. Setup was a bit cumbersome, but once in place, it saves so much time. I’ve used Basecamp too, but Monday.com offers so much more for tracking projects, collecting and synthesizing data, and integrations with other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love it, but many coworkers find it intimidating. You need to use it daily to get comfortable, and some departments we’ve tried to include have been overwhelmed and refuse to learn it. Even my team took some time to adjust since they were used to doing everything through email. Now they’re starting to see the benefit for internal communication, though we still rely on email for external and interdepartmental contact. I wish “My Work” could be sorted by multiple columns - Priority and then Status - that would be super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use it for project management and to communicate within our marketing department about task status. It’s easy to see who’s working on what or where a project might be stuck. We also track KPIs for campaigns to reference later, and use forms as a ticketing system for project requests from other departments or outside entities not using Monday.com. That ensures we get the details we need to start and track work internally. Finished projects are archived on boards with linked resources, often pointing to Dropbox or other storage for large files. We’ve also used document creation for SOPs to support training. The calendar view is key for our Social Media board to plan our content release schedule. It’s basically the place to find anything and everything happening in our department.

And Yes, I work on it daily.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is incredibly easy to use and navigate, making it a breeze to stay on top of my work. Whenever new tasks are assigned to me (which happens daily), I receive instant notifications, so nothing slips through the cracks. Viewing task details is simple and intuitive, allowing me to understand exactly what needs to be done without any confusion. I also love that Monday.com offers a mobile version — it’s perfect for checking updates, reviewing details, and staying productive even when I’m away from my computer. Whether I’m at my desk or on the go, it keeps me connected and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dont like about Monday.com is the maintenance it sometimes takes a while, especially when I am working and needing to get the details of tasks. But other than that, I like everything else about Monday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management helps me stay organized and on top of my tasks without feeling overwhelmed. Everything I need is in one place, so I can quickly see what’s due, check updates, and keep track of progress. It’s also made communication so much easier since all the details and files are attached to the tasks themselves. Plus, the mobile app means I can stay updated and get things done even when I’m not at my desk.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy to use Monday is. My company switched from another project management tool and Monday has been a great solution for us. It allows collaboration, project management, and file management all in one spot. It also works well on the mobile version so I'm always on top of my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The name can be confusing because it's unclear if we're talking about the day of the week or product sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It replace our work trackers and the other project management/collaboration software we used. It seems to integrate well with other software systems we use.

What do you like best about the product?
The first thing I liked when I started using it was how quickly it was easy to learn. I didn't need long training sessions or read extensive texts to learn how to use its tools because its basic guide was very comprehensive and explained all its functions quickly and accurately. Additionally, its built-in AI helps work flow more smoothly by minimizing or automating processes so it's not repetitive and boring. Its price is quite affordable and is suitable for any company, whether large or small.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel I've had any difficulties using it or that the system isn't working. It has been beneficial for my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has optimized teamwork to be much more effective and allows for better visualization of each project, allowing for real-time analysis.

Monday

What do you like best about the product?
I like that monday Work Management puts everything — tasks, timelines, files, and communication — in one clear, customizable workspace. It’s visually intuitive, so at a glance we can see project statuses, deadlines, and who’s responsible for what.

The most helpful part is the flexibility: we can adapt boards to fit anything from event planning to grant tracking without needing a separate tool for each workflow. Upsides include real-time collaboration, automated reminders to keep projects on track, and integrations that connect with tools we already use, which saves time and reduces missed deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback is that monday Work Management can feel overwhelming at first — there’s a learning curve to setting up boards and automations effectively. Some advanced features, like time tracking or certain integrations, require higher-tier plans, which can add to costs. Also, with many boards and updates, it can get cluttered if teams don’t maintain consistent organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday Work Management is solving the problem of scattered communication and disorganized project tracking. Before, tasks, files, and updates were split between emails, chats, and spreadsheets, which slowed progress and caused missed deadlines.

Now, everything lives in one place — from event timelines to grant application checklists — so we can see progress in real time, assign responsibilities clearly, and set automated reminders. The benefit is faster coordination, fewer missed steps, and a clearer picture of priorities, which keeps projects on schedule and stakeholders informed.

Flexible and User-Friendly Project Management Tool

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how visual and customizable the platform is. The boards, color-coding, and status updates make it easy to see project progress at a glance, and the drag-and-drop setup means I can quickly adjust workflows without needing technical skills. I also appreciate the automations and integrations — they save a lot of repetitive work and keep everything connected across tools. Overall, it makes project tracking simple, organized, and even a bit fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Monday.com is powerful, some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can make it expensive for growing teams. The reporting and dashboard capabilities are good for quick overviews but can feel limited when you need deeper analytics. Automations are helpful but sometimes lack flexibility for more complex conditions. Also, with many boards and columns, the interface can become a bit cluttered if not managed carefully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com has helped centralize all our projects, tasks, and deadlines in one place, which has reduced the need for constant back-and-forth emails and status meetings. It makes it easy to assign responsibilities, track progress in real time, and keep everyone accountable. The automation features have eliminated a lot of repetitive admin work, and the integrations ensure that data flows smoothly between the other tools we use. As a result, our team communicates more effectively, projects move faster, and we have better visibility into workloads and priorities.
