Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to colate reports from the data stored on the boards is a great benifit of the platforms. The different types of colums and the consequential data that can be stored is also one of the best things about Monday.com. Overall it is an extremely helpful tool to allow ease of communication across a large team, and increases productivity through the collaborative boards used for individual projects so information is readily available in one place. It is a product that is used daily within the business and has become invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitation on features and the slow process of requesting new features and the likelyhood of them being fulfilled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of coordinating between a large team across multiple different projects. Having information in a space that is collaborative and people internally and externally can view and collaborate has been invaluable.
Essential
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is not an essentual part of our teams management software. It serves more than just task mangment. It has amazing features for cash flow, budgeting and tracking of profitability.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about this prodcut
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps track week to week solar installations for our business and the profitbility of those weeks
Very polished and smart project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is clean and intuitive, and once one grasps the underlying methodology and principles behind the design, it is quite easy to create almost any kind of process/project management tool you can think of. It's not really designed to replace other systems but augment them, which can be a detriment to those who recoil from adding new tools to their workflow, but I actually find it a strength. Monday.com sticks to what it is and what it does best, and doesn't venture into feature-bloat in the way Microsoft et al. often do. There are heaps of integrations and automations available, and setting them up is easy to do without having to be a developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is hard as the things I struggle the most with in Monday.com — being able to customise and push the platform to do what I want — I also understand why that functionality isn't there in the native app, and I agree with them. You can customise the layout and flow of boards and workspaces, but the "column" (field) options are actually quite limited once you get into it, and it still feels like a front-end to a very complex spreadsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us collaborate more openly and authentically as we can all see what everybody else is working on (within permissions) and this is a godsend in a post-pandemic working landscape where everybody is remote/separated.
Life wouldn’t be as good without it :-)
What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface, how easy it is to use, the option of using different layouts, being able to keep my tasks for my team organized. It's pretty perfect actually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing actually, it does what I need it to without over complicating (although there are lots of features I don't use)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my two VAs (and Vice versa!)
Organization at your fingers
What do you like best about the product?
Monday allows us to keep our small business organized. Monday is what got us off of paper and pencil lists. We tried many other options that never seem to stick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost - It feels like all these great software options add up quickly. You can easily get into subscription overload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow for multiple remote workers.
Extremely Pleased
What do you like best about the product?
monday.com is an incredibly useful tool as someone who is involved in all of our office's sales doing marketing and sales administation. With several people involved throughout the sale, we can see how a campaign has progressed pre and post sale and which tasks have/have not been completed. It is my work bible!
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't wrap my head around the more complex boards where the property boards were all on 1 page and moved as the sale progressed. However we just kept the simple individual boards which I prefer as someone who uses the monday.com every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently don't have issues with the way I use the boards.
Easy to use work management system
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations and integrations that are possible to create work flows in a system that also serves a purpose for task tracking and is easy to refer back to
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday mostly suits the purposes that I have needed it to so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Serves as an IT Ticketikg system as well as a reference to store ideas on how to solve re-occurring issues
Monday allowed me to scale my business and provide unique offerings to clients
What do you like best about the product?
Scaleability. I manage a lot of content creators and need to keep all of them up to date on multiple deals. Thanks to Monday I have pushed through my ceiling on the number of creators my business can onboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to give my creators access to their own boards via their own private, secure links, which update automatically from the main board. I'm having to use a complex workaround for this currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Monday.com I would have to manually update the task boards of my clients (content creators). With that manual process removed, I have broken through the ceiling of the number of creators I can manage.
Do what I need
What do you like best about the product?
This is really easy to use and provides me with the tools to become more productive and effective
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curves to maximise the value of the platform require time. Monday.com provides with the trainings to overcome it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly Tracking task and deadlines
Best Project Management tool out there
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is hands down the most robust project management tool there is. There is so much flexibility and customization of to set up and manage work, and their dashboard options are incredibly helpful for cross team collaboration/views.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of how robust Monday.com is, it has a downside of getting quite slow when you are utilizing all of the features and options to the full extent. We have the enterprise account which allows us to add up to 50 connected boards to a dashboard, which is incredibly useful, but slows down load times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com allows us to see everything involving our work in one place -- from timelines, to resources, to team capacity and time tracking. We are able to manage everything we need in one place without the use of multiple platforms
